Language school for au pairs

Dear all, I'm afraid we're mid move to Kent so I won't be available for any more than adhoc teaching in SE London. I do however know of someone who is TEFL qualified based in Honor Oak who I would recommend. Her name is Nicola; her email is [email protected] Best wishes, Clara -

Hi all, we're in the middle of a house move to Kent so I'm recommending a friend Nicola, who is based in Honor Oak. She is TEFL qualified, has teaching English experience and had her own au pairs in the past. Do get in touch with her if you'd like to find out more: [email protected] Best wishes, Clara -
Mum and baby/toddler groups
Clara Hebblethwaite replied to Jessicas429's topic in The Family Room Discussion
If you enjoy singing, then this is the choir for you! We literally sing for fun really. It's the first 'group' I've found that has mums as the main aim while the little uns feed off our endorphins! -
Mum and baby/toddler groups

Hummy Mummies is the best group I've found. My son is now 19 months and we've been going since he was tiny. Check out the website: http://www.hummymummies.com/ Most importantly you get to sing your heart out to proper songs (while the kids do their thing) Really enjoyable, great for the soul and Richard who runs it is v chilled and an ace teacher. -
Hi all, If you need extra help with French or Spanish before upcoming GCSE or A2 exams- I'm a qualified French and Spanish teacher who tutors children from The Charter and St Dunstans amongst others. By building confidence and knowing what the examiners are looking for, I've helped pupils get some great results. For further info, do check out my website: www.ilovelanguages.org.uk Best wishes, Clara

Hummy Mummies - a new choir for mums and tots
Clara Hebblethwaite replied to swannieboy's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I've got a one year old boy and Hummy Mummies is literally our fav activity. We've tried most local baby- toddler groups and this beats them all! Have a go, it's free for a trial class and then sign up to sing your heart out while children play/ listen/ dance along. It's really fun- proper songs- and an endorophin release thrown in! See here for more info on where n when: http://www.hummymummies.com/locations/ x -
Language school for au pairs
Clara Hebblethwaite replied to gigglesworthy's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hiya, I run a local English class especially tailored to suit every Tuesday. Pupils can sign up (on a drop in basis) for either the 11am lesson (run from home- SE15 1UG) or the 7pm lesson (from a quiet table at The Victoria Inn, Bellenden Road). The price per hour is just ?15. It's a great way for au pairs to meet, learn English, get to know the area and generally feel like they are making the most of their time here. Do get in touch to book! Best wishes, Clara ilovelanguages.org.uk -
Hola Audrey, is your class at The Dish & Spoon every Monday at 2.30pm and is it drop in? Thanks, Clara

Hi Lucy, sorry, there was a snag with the server yesterday. The site is now back up and running. http://www.ilovelanguages.org.uk/our-courses/english-conversation/ Because the classes are 'drop in' my assessment of pupils is ongoing and I adjust lessons accordingly. The max group size is 4 so this is possible. Do let me know if you need further info! Best wishes, Clara

Hi all, we have a lovely 22 year old girl Spanish au pair. We wondered if you knew of any other young Spaniards for her to hang out with over the next few days- possibly for a drink or two on Saturday eve in East Dulwich? Let me know if you would like to set up! Thanks, Clara

Hummy Mummies - a new choir for mums and tots

Really enjoyed today! Thanks so much! :) -
I gave my boy his Calpol 10mins before the jab and then some milk immediately after. Hope it goes well!

Really interesting. Thanks so much all. There are so many good arguments on both sides. I found it hard to decide but in the end went for it. He took it well bless him. I think after the set of 3 compulsory jabs I was really loathed to put him through more- especially if there was an option not to. My sister was anti it as she now lives on the coast and noone has had it done there. Plus she said the mark it has left on her daughter's arm isn't great. But for us bringing them up here it will mean we might well be exposed. Def a personal choice but glad we're covered- and that its over!

Hi all. Advice needed! We live in Peckham with our 4 month son and today is the day for his BCG. I just spoke to my sis who said that she wished she hadn't got her daughter's jab done when she lived in Brixton. What do you think?
