**UPDATE** I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY THE LONDON ANIMAL HOSPITAL THAT THE OWNER HAS BEEN FOUND. 61 Maxted Road SE 15 got alerted to a cat that had been run over and sadly died at around 9.30pm this evening (Friday). The cat is a relatively young tabby with no collar. We were told that the van driver who hit the cat slowed down initially but then drove off. We knocked on doors on Maxted Road but have had no luck finding the owner. We are going to take it to the London Animal Hospital in Camberwell tonight and they will keep the cat for a week.
