A police force in America once targetted drivers who abused disabled bays in supermarkets. They stopped them once on the public highway and found the majority were driving cars that were illegal in some way,usualy insurance ,license or unpaid tickets. The rationale the police used was that people who flouted minor rules and abused facilities often thought that the law was only for others to obey. I wonder if this would apply to the Sainsbury 'bay bandits'?

It looks grotesque and dominates the whole area. They call it a 'pavillion in the park'. It's a factory and the only park it should be in is an industrial park in Manchester.

Who are these grinning, smug buffoons? Round and round with the PA system blaring full blast from the back of their pickup. I presume they are advertising something but the sound is so distorted I can't tell.

Arguement between driver and pedestrian,ended up with a headbutt and kicking.

Saw the arguement and assault this afternoon.It was heartening to see how many witnesses came forward to give details to the police,restores my faith in ED.

Scammed,but no shame in that . Think of the hours of practice she had to put in to cover every possible question or doubt you might raise,then think of the failed attempts and rebuffs,one almost admires the dedication . You gave your personal details to a stranger.Watch out for letters saying you have won the Greek Lottery...'just fill in these few details to claim'.

Enforcing planning regs is vital,especially when it comes to business premises. Whole neighbourhoods can be blighted by a noisy or polluting firm,ie. jobbing builders turning their gardens into scaffolding yards,bars extending premises and garages operating substandard spray booths etc..... Southwark council should be ruthless in enforcing,no business or individual should be able to flout the planning law.

Please,who ever is in charge of the lovely cafe, organise the place.The queue is horrendous,the staff are pleasant enough,the coffee is good but they each serve one customer at a time meaning that they are fighting each other for the coffee machine.Why not one to shout orders and dish out the cake ,one on the till and one making the coffee? Maybe your till should be at the end of the counter not in the middle? I dunno ....just hate to wait for 20mins or more, spoils a good day out.

Vegas/Modern style bar and grill offering high quality comfortable furnishings,decent fittings,decor, art and lighting,serving good steak and Italian cuisine.I don't want to see any garden furniture,organic Welsh sea grass soup or cheap paint jobs masquerading as shabby chic. Make sure the bar and restaurant staff are well trained,friendly and know how to properly hustle for tips. With the honourable exception of one curry house,the eateries in LL are mostly old fashioned, uncomfortable and poorly designed. I don't know what your budget is but good luck.
