The thermostat on my oven wasn't working properly so I contacted Steve, The Spin Doctor. He advised me which part to order and when it arrived, he popped round to swap it over. He takes payment by debit or credit card and his prices are very reasonable. A punctual, efficient and really friendly guy. Highly recommended.

Just spoke to the estate agent and they (Acorn) have sold the ground floor apartment (?550k) and the top apartment (?475k)to young professionals with no chain. Hope this is a good omen for my "apartment" 2 doors down. The middle flat is still available at ?425k is anyone is interested...!

I live on Oakhusrt Grove and see that Acorn Estates are currently marketing 3 new "boutique" apartments on the street. I took a peek at them the other day and have to say they are magnificent. They have all been "dressed" by an interior designer so look like show homes. The previous resident had let the house fall into disrepair but from what I saw the other day, they are now finished to a very high standard so if you are looking for a pristine property in East Dulwich, then I would definitely check these out. No idea how much they are on for but I was very impressed with them, especially the ground floor "apartment". BTW I have no affiliation with Acorn Estates...!!

I would like to see a zebra crossing put there as I am always crossing the road with my dog but I'm sure they will argue that there is a traffic light just along the street and people should use that. Let us know how you get on jocher.

A young schoolboy has been knocked down whilst crossing the road near Locale in East Dulwich Road. Paramedics are at the scene right now. I was informed by a Community Officer that he had run out into the traffic without looking where he was going but that's all I know at the moment. I hope he will be ok.
