Joggers! You are allowed to run on to the grass whilst passing people don't you know! In Peckham Rye some are literally running up behind people so close!

Children's playgrounds (now closed)
Nandalf the Grey replied to Nandalf the Grey's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Thanks shebe. I don't think they can do anything else. I'm glad tbh. -
In Peckham Rye park today, the playground is still open and there are quite a few children playing in there. Shouldn't the gates to the playground be locked now? Considering this virus lives on surfaces for 12 or more hours. Very worrying to see people with this blaz? attitude to be honest.

Anywhere still selling real Christmas trees?
Nandalf the Grey replied to sdas111's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Perry Vale in forest hill, there's a place selling loads. -
They have done this in Peckham Rye park too. I've been walking in that park for 22 year's and I think it's disgusting.

We went to Beckenham dog training club, which we enjoyed.

Where locally can I buy net curtains?
Nandalf the Grey replied to Nandalf the Grey's topic in The Lounge
Thank you all xx -
I need to be able to walk into a shop and walk out with net curtains, like when we had Pollards or something similar. Is there anywhere local like this please? Thanks!

In snappy snaps you get 4 photos, they get passport checked on the spot, you also get a digital copy by email and a unique number so that you can apply for your passport online, you type the code in and it's done.

Strange Orange dust on Peckham Rye
Nandalf the Grey replied to Bjork's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I had orange dust all over my shoes last week, so did my aunt. They don't put sand on the meadow bits near the back of the Elms, that's where I think we got it. -
Hi Sue, I think that some people tend to leave blinds shut most of the time. They can look prison like if that's the case. Ours are opened everyday, on a tilt at the bottom and fully on the top section, with the bit next to the front door on more of a tilt for privacy. We had nets before, but I'm not a fan.

I have white plantation blinds in my bay window. They cover the big windows, but we didn't want them going all the way to the top. We went for bigger slats rather than the small ones and we put a bar in the middle so that we have the choice of having the top slats open and bottom slats tilted so no one can see in and visa versa. I love them. They let light in and have opened up our room I think.

Loads here in Forest Hill. Not the end of the world. Like someone said, they'll be gone soon.

Gala festival in Peckham Rye park
Nandalf the Grey replied to DoctorM's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
The wildlife must be terrified. There'll be babies in the park too, how do the parents cope with all that. I think it's the wrong place to hold it. Baby animals I mean! -
Gala festival in Peckham Rye park
Nandalf the Grey replied to DoctorM's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I walk the route where the festival's being held 9/10 days with my dogs. My problem is that the grass and wild bits has more or less only just recovered from last time. The ruts in the grass on the field opposite the boys school were never sorted out. I think it's totally the wrong place to hold it. The fencing looks like a prison perimeter. Not a fan to be honest. -

Forest Hill Road Post Office.
Nandalf the Grey replied to Drxyster's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Just been in. Staff were nice and very helpful. But an awful layout and it's like another convenience shop now. I loved it before. Much less stationary products now.Not impressed. -
The pond in Peckam Rye park looks terrible. It's so scummy I'm surprised the wildlife is surviving.I'm going to go to the park office to ask what's going to be done to clean it up. Also the fountain in the Sexby gardens has been dried up for months and is full of scummy pond stuff. Such a shame.

Lack of maintenance in Peckham Rye Park
Nandalf the Grey replied to Sue's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I've been on holiday. When I walked into the park last week, I thought it looked wonderful, except for the ruts where the festival was. The park is green and lush. Beautiful.
