Having read through this thread, I must admit that I find it quite childish. In a way it reminds me of kids in the school playground. People on this thread are not kids but, from what I have read, some have failed to become responsible adults. On analysing the thread I believe that Ladymuck is owed an apology because her name has been dragged through the mud on a misunderstanding.

Monica, You get my thumbs up for this one. I think you are doing a splendid job for the local community. Keep it up. You will always get the odd dissenting voice. To quote a cliche: you can't please all the people all of the time, but you can please most of the people most of the time - which you are doing.

Barack Obama has been in office for less than one year. Although the change has been quite refreshing, is it too soon for him to receive the Nobel Peace Prize?

RosieH's no. is the correct one (I'm looking at card right now) - but note that opening times are 8.00 - 1 mon - fri and 8 - 12.30 sat.

I just thought I'd tell you that yesterday the lights were off in Foxtons at night. Also the TVs were on, but not displaying a picture - however still burning electricity. The only light on was the fridge. Has anyone else noticed this?

I think we should petition to turn Foxtons into something useful like a nice restaurant instead of yet another estate agent on Lordship Lane - with no worth or use. Wouldn't mind the lights being on all night then!

At about 12.30 am (Sat) I saw two armed police with sub-machine guns outside the A&E Dept. of KCH. Does anyone know why?

I know that there has been a lot of chatter about "Melbourne Grove Medical Practice" on the forum. But I believe that the service (if you can call it that) is getting worse. Who can we go to about getting CONCORDIA out? Who can we complain to about this very poor service that we are now getting? Can we start with an online petition on this forum? Any ideas?
