My current favourite site. Bit of a cliche, but this really is laugh-out-load funny... 27bslash6

What Brendan said. If you read the context of the question asked and the response given I'm amazed that anyone could come to the conclusion that the post was made up. If we adopted the only-accept-it-when-verified-by-multiple-sources criteria, then wouldn't the vast majority of threads be titled "Something may of happened...."

I really don't get why there is such suspicion about the report of the poor girl getting stabbed. Lenk - this isn't the first time that you've adopted the position that 'bad' things being reported aren't true. Obviously some things that are presented as facts do need challenging, but I think you should apply a bit more thought before jumping in. This isn't an attempt to induce hysteria, more an attempt to provide more information.

Posting this here as well as the Wanted section. I have a single spare to the Semi-final this Saturday in the Arsenal end. Ace seats in block 120, 15 rows back. I only want face value, which is ?58 including all the rip-off booking fees and other bullsh1t. No probs if you are a Chav fan and want to come, just be aware that you are in the Arsenal end so no blue to be worn, or songs about flags..... PM me if interested

On the subject of offers, Skybet are offering EW on the first 6 places in the 2.05. Just tested it out (without placing a bet) and they seem to be going for 1/4 the odds as well

Yeah, I kinda agree, although I also agree with SMG (and others) that its a bit unfair pointing fingers without any proof. So now we have the proof. Maybe I should write to the Chief Exec of Texaco as well?

I emailed customer support at Somerfield (as I said I would) and got nothing back. No surprise there. So I wrote to their Chief Exec saying that I understood that staff had been removed because of card cloning. Here's the response I received...

"understand" - a carefully chosen phrase I've just emailed Somerfield to ask them to confirm or deny my earlier comment. I'll let you know what they say (which I expect to be nothing...)

I'm surprised that Somerfield is still being mentioned. I understand that the vast majority of their staff were recently replaced due to being discovered as card cloners.

Once again, I've got a couple of spares for the Arsenal game this weekend. PM me if you're interested...

WIFE: What would you do if I died? Would you get married again? HUSBAND: Definitely not! WIFE: Why not - don't you like being married? HUSBAND: Of course I do. WIFE: Then why wouldn't you remarry? HUSBAND: Okay, I'd get married again. WIFE: You would? (With a hurtful look on her face). HUSBAND: (Makes audible groan). WIFE: Would you live in our house? HUSBAND: Sure, it's a great house. WIFE: Would you sleep with her in our bed? HUSBAND: Where else would we sleep? WIFE: Would you let her drive my car? HUSBAND: Probably, it is almost new. WIFE: Would you replace my pictures with hers? HUSBAND: That would seem like the proper thing to do. WIFE: Would she use my golf clubs? HUSBAND: No, she's left-handed. WIFE: - silence - - HUSBAND: F * ck ....

Just got home to find a notice stating there will be emergency works carried out on Matham Grove and that cars will be removed tomorrow. Had a look on southwark council website and can't find anything relating to this.. nor have we as residents of Matham Grove been formally notified of any works. does anyone have a clue what this is all about and what happens if the cars aren't moved (it's not like we're in a fit state to move them right now!)?

I've already posted this in the Wanted bit of the forum, but thought I might as well put it here as well. I have 4 tickets for the Arsenal game tomorrow night and unfortunately I can no longer make it. They are available for ?40 each - face value - for any Gooner (or even Geordie) who fancies it. Drop me a PM if you are interested...

I'd have to say the Pavilion. The food is much more delicately cooked there and seems to be fresher than the Sema.

If you are going to email the council to object to this, make sure that you include your full name and address, including post code, within the email to ensure that they don't reject your comments.
