  4. Thats life just have to get on with it. In the big scheme of things a few delays are nothing in comparison to lots of suffering going on in the world at large.
  5. Well there were certainly workman there on Friday as I was in the area. At the end of the day its an emergency gas leak so sadly you have to put up with the disruption.
  6. I thought this was very funny - the Council if they are like others will take ages to do anything and the Police are not interested. The Eye Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > May I suggest. > > http://www.armouryinaction.co.uk/media/shotguns/sa > wnoffdb.jpg
  7. You might all find this of use if you are using public transport over the Christmas/New Year period. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/Christmas_travel_2009.pdf
  8. You are not alone I think its a shame they are going. Get Boris out before he does anymore damage to London. plimsoul Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > yes, the blessed 149 which fills quickly, leaves > quickly and is followed quickly (well that is my > personal experience every day so sorry if it > clashes with anyone else's opinion of the 149) > > i am that rare thing, born londoner who doesn't > hate bendy buses. the rest of the world that cares > to interest itself in London looks on at us and > laughs (i know this for fact) at our reaction to > them.

  10. Special shuttle bus from the O2. http://www.go-ahead-london.com/bus-services/theo2.html
  11. Having worked at London Bridge last week when the 521 was converted from bendy bus to smaller single decks the majority of people I spoke with hated the bendy bus replacement and thought it was a crazy idea. The cost of replacing them is huge - thankfully living outside of London I won't be picking up the cost - you will be the London tax payer. Good luck.
  12. You had best put a complaint into the nice people at Arriva then:) JoJo09 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Got the 176 yesterday arvo and the bus driver was > hideous for the whole journey into town. 13. I gather that a few people on here have been rumbled putting in complaints about "nasty nigel" when he was either on holiday or on another route. Oh dear you really did fall into the trap.
  14. Bear in mind because it is holiday time there is less traffic on the roads so journeys do tend to be quicker than normal. I dare say drivers on the 176 use the internet just don't bother looking at this forum to read such crap as the window knocker in ED or a carrier bag blew down Lordship Lane today did you see it - god you really do need to get a life.
