  1. I wonder what the position would be if we passed offending photos of dangerous parking to the police? Any lawyers out there?
  2. Gimme please let us know the outcome of this. It would be utterly outrageous if these scoundrels can create a hazard without suffering serious consequences.
  3. Actually silverfox, I was more concerned about them being totalled by a lorry.
  4. I am puzzled. You know those parents who stick their kid in the baby seat on the back of their bike - then dart in and out of traffic? Are they being a green, responsible parent? Or a smug middle class, dangerous twat? Just, asking, like.
  5. I don't think uzzy helped his/her case with that stream of consciousness hard-to-follow rambling style
  6. What Lawrence said . Someone was clearly under the influence of narcotics in the OP. May not have been the kids though.
  7. Uzzy did you inhale? Just asking, like.
  8. Surely we've all thanked the ATM after its dispensed the cash? Or even left the cash protruding from the machine and gone home? Right?
  9. JB, any news re the bin bags left out overnight. They are consistently providing a fox's midnight buffet. Had stomach turning display of used nappies, takeaway mush and unidentifiabe trash strewn up and down Hindmans a couple of days ago. Vile.

Quite so. Man the barricades. Elbows on tables, anyone? And there can be few things more upsetting to the senses than being at table with someone eating their dinner with a spoon. Unless it's soup.
  12. MM for once I am ashamed to be associated with this forum. The idea of brushing away that poor child's memorial is so repellant as to render one speechless. It's the kind of nimbysm that non ed forumites erroneously think might typify this forum. Rather than attack Barber for refusing to send in the bin men, I suggest you hang your head in shame. Really shocking.
  13. I can understand a left hander doing this . But the chief culprit of my acquaintance is right handed.
  14. I have been consortng outside east dulwich rather a lot lately and have noticed an explosion of odd dinner table behaviour. Amongst the most puzzling is a profusion of people using knives in their left hands and forks in their right. Did I miss something ? Is it now ok to eat like this? Interstingly I never see folk doing this in dulwich.
  15. James , going back to those blue bin bags ripped up by foxes, they are invariably left out overnight at weekends on hindmans road and northcross. The resulting mess can be pretty stomach churning on a Sunday morning . What can be done?
  16. This is crazy talk, DW. But - what;s it like out there?
  17. JB,old boy, i'm no Lib Dem but by golly you are the model of engaged local rep. Any parliamentary aspirations?
  18. Respect! DWB. Or Driving Whilst Black as its known in the US!
  19. Reggie - when will you guys be touring the area again in your pickup. It would help celebrate spring and alleviate the pre-election tedium. Crack on please.
  20. Quids, wrong wrong wrong. It's the clowns. Or the volcanic ash. Evil bastards.
  21. All very interesting I am sure. But we are avoiding the elephant in the room. What does "two bobbins on a single spindle" mean? (as posted by the Jenny 1840) Is it a sexual reference?
  22. Dorset's gentle coast, cornwalls dramatic one. My parents still being in love after more than fifty years. My son's beauty.Getting off the train at east dulwich after a long day at work.
