I also oppose any planned nuclear facility on the site of the Capitol pub. Catford is a more suitable site . James Barber should be informed.
  2. Oh Christ , New Boots , calm the fuck down

According to some folk cyclists are never wrong. About anything. Ever. It's always the fault of others . Got that?
  4. They're probably reading this right now and feeling thoroughly ashamed of themselves.
  5. Tre: matinee performance of Gt Britain. Decent play ...nice gags but little bite Rahrah: yikes, busted ! btw always wondered are you the person who runs the shop on Upland ?Re kids ...oddly feel the Peck is more suitable for me now that my kid is grown (ish) Jeremy : yeah the new hood seems way cooler and more relevant. I too was ejected from ED by house price inflation. Was terrified of moving to the Peck but now love it
  6. Oh and back on topic - ED is charming and friendly in its own way. Loved living there ( as a blow in. ) But having blown out (to Peckham) I find the area a bit parochial on the odd trip back.
  7. I'm wondering if the dumpgate miscreant was at the National Theatre last Saturday afternoon. Someone had taken not one but three dumps on the floor of the male loo. I beat a very hasty retreat.
  8. Louisa how DARE you? Bellenden Road is way too stylish to host the Adventure or anything of that ilk. No self respecting hipster Peckhamite ( not to mention middle aged blow-in like myself) would draw much pleasure there. Duncan's Croydon jab is cruel but accurate.

  10. Uh...that's the Picture House...
  11. The overall experience of going to a Picture House is pleasant and relaxing . Could be the same at the Plex if it smartened itself up . That bleakly municipalforecourt and entrance is ok during the day but really offputting at night
  12. A church? In Forest Hill, you say? This is simply unacceptable. It's a sign of the moral bankruptcy that's blighting so much of modern life. The sooner we close down these dens of iniquity the better. Oh, hold on...
  13. Jah Lush > No one said 'fi real' in my day old bean. Yes I believe " fi real " to be a neologism .
  14. The Plex is ok but it needs to offer a better range of movies and make its entrance less gloomy and dingey. Hopefully the Picture House will drive up standards. Also I wouldn't mind paying more if it discouraged the text/talking assholes.

  20. Surely Mark Regev is the best PR the Palestinians could ever hope for.

Has the usual vested interests squealing. Good.
