Hi lovely neighbours- following a hospital stay I had to have injections. Needles have now been safely placed in a locked bin. - The council doesn't want them at the moment due to covid - Pharmacies that I have tried dont want/take them Does anyone know where I can dispose of them safely please? Next step is to contact the hospital again but they originally mentioned council. Thank you, Smiley

As KK mentioned, if they are issues both with mgt and maintenance - which often go in pair, I'd walk too. From your initial email, things sound a bit complicated already and might be worse once you are the owner. Ask your solicitor what they think maybe? In this process, the only one looking out for you would be him/her.

Apologies I can't advise precisely either (I am with LV for my 9.5 year old cat at the moment and got this insurance 3 years ago). Just wanted to say thank you both for adopting old cats! They generally are at rescue centres following the death of their owners and deserve much love! They are generally not people's first choice, so again, thank you!

Virgin Media down again (25/6) ?
Smiley_blue_1234 replied to ed_pete's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Down in Peckham as well. Heads up: I was on a ?29 contract (Broadband only) until end of last year. Since then VM has increased their bill slowly (a few pounds each time) until charging me ?37.50 in May (broadband only no increase in speed!). When I complained about the 30% increase they told me it was their rate now and from June their best price would be ?42!! Thieves!! To profit from the current situation is just a shame I am currently looking at other providers Good luck and stay safe! -
Thanks for going the extra mile for these little creatures!!

Hi lovely people - is there anywhere local (SE15/SE22) where I can drop some clothes that cannot be donated please? Ideally somewhere where the fabric can be recycled Many thanks Smiley -
Spotted around 5.45pm today in front of Best Western Hotel on Peckham road Was chased by a fox along busy Peckham road but cat escaped on Grummant road Very friendly cat, seemed hungry (though not skinny). Gave him/her some cat treats that I just bought and ate them super quickly Hopefully just a wanderer who will be safe at home tonight

How to convert Video 8 to digital/MP4/DVD please?
Smiley_blue_1234 replied to Smiley_blue_1234's topic in The Lounge
Thanks Blah Blah! -
Dear Forum members, What is the best place/way to convert old Video 8 camcorder tapes into either MP4 or Dvd? How much does it cost approximately? I found some old V8 tapes that would make a perfect Christmas present :) Many thanks in advance for any tips!

Hi all - just to tell you that I organised the home safety visit from the London Fire Brigade as Sue kindly recommended. A massive thank you!!! The firemen came earlier and were very kind and helpful (aren't they always!). They gave me precise advice on alarms (types, numbers, location..) safety route, safety tips etc. They also kindly installed their 10-year alarms in my home for free. Best service ever!! Details on how to book can be found there if you are interested: https://www.london-fire.gov.uk/safety/the-home/home-fire-safety-visits/ I hope this helps! Best Catherine x
