Hi east dulwich I would ask you all to stop the witch hunt on "ANGRY NIGEL"(his names not even nigel) he is a good driver and has been for the past 30 years and soon too retire. Most of you go on as your sooo hard done by but just use an oyster and instantly you'll solve the problem ,do you really think we want to check your passes,I was assaulted for doing that last year,no we want to get to where we are going, do our job and go home, we don't want the stress ,whinging, moaning and bitching every time we work, you all have a very good bus service with a choice of 6 services and a station, just thank us for our work and you'll encounter happy drivers. Some of you have been good enough to defend my friend and for this you have my thanx this thread does not apply to you you're welcome on my bus and have a nice day

to clarify your misguided information; all busses are time and place controlled by a clever gps system called IBUS it maps and makes sure all london busses are running relitivly on time, now on occations when alot of traffic or busses are being delayed for longer than 15-20 minutes the system alerts the controllers who contact the drivers about turns ,the driver CAN NOT self turn in most cases you'll be informed of the situation . transfer tickets are issued to allow you on any route to your destination eg your on the 185 to victoria and a turn at vauxhall come up then at vauxhall you can use a transfer to victoria on th 36, 436 or 2 so please give us a break we work to instruction

Hi moos your right there are crappy people on both sides and although i try to smile and greet back after you've been sworn at for the upteenth time in a week you can't blame some of us to go nuts, yes i'm a bus driver through east dulwich and i know whom you refer to as angry nigel and his names not nigel he's a good bloke and has been on the busses for the last 35 years soon to retire

im sure the public you deal with dont think your a wanker and hate you just because your there the general public hate bus drivers and only speak when they wish to moan (with exception to the elderly)

at last someone in this forum i agree with

your such a big man but try doing his job with 70 pissed up fools activating alarms whilst he's doing his job . Bus drivers are not allowed out their cabs unless in emergency this is a health and safety directive, and believe me in an emergency you'll be glad this man is the level headed driver of your bus.However please tell me where you work so I can come with 50 mates get pissed and set off your alarms

what a fool you are but being such a rich self opionated lawyer that you are please by all means get a taxi, and after a few trips you'll be glad to see the faithfull bus service, so please produce your pass take a seat and thank the driver when you get off ,it only cost you ?2 and you don't need to leave a tip
