Yes, the London Wildlife Protection asked me not to contact RSPCA as they will destroy it. Such a shame! So lucky to have other volunteers and vets that will help.

I've just found an injured bird on my windowsill. looks like a baby pigeon but i'm not sure. I think it's leg is injured. Any advice on what to do? RSPCA aren't able to help. The recommendation is to put the bird in a box and take to a wildlife centre but I don't drive. Any ideas? Can anyone help?

My husband left our 2 car seats outside on the pavement while he was cleaning the inside of the car today. He forgot about them and came into the house for a few minutes and they're gone! Has anyone picked them up thinking that they were left out to take? If so, please can we have them back. It would be much appreciated! Our mistake leaving them but it was only a few minutes!

Another thumbs up for Colin. We have used him numerous times over the years for painting and smaller odd jobs. We have always been extremely happy with his work and his prices are very reasonable. He's always gone out of his way to complete jobs quickly and he's never let us down. Couldn't recommend him more highly!

Potty training / withholding
scotlass replied to supergolden88's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hi there, I had this with my daughter. emza78, i was the one who originally posted on that old thread, i'm sorry i didn't see that you had resurrected it. My daughter was the same, she would hold it in all day and just seemed to have a fear of using the potty. She would happily sit on it but just didn't release. We put her back into nappies and she would still be afraid to have a wee with her nappy on. After a few more months and a few failed tries we eventually had success. We tried these stickers and they did the trick http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0012N7EYO supergolden88 maybe you could try these? Your situation is slightly different to mine as you did have success with the potty training in the beginning. It's such a tricky one. I think if things don't improve then you should maybe revert to nappies. It's amazing how things will change in a few months. Don't feel pressured to potty train. Sometimes they just need a few more months. Good luck -
Pahahaha! Love this

I feel for you, there's nothing worse! I found reflexology really helped with my swollen feet. The Dulwich Therapy rooms have two great ladies who helped me during my pregnancy. They can also do home visits.

Hello ladies, Looking forward to meeting some of you today :)) Lets try and get the large long table inside the cafe. All the other tables sit approx 4 and looks like there's going to be quite a few of us. The large table should sit us all comfortably. How's everyone coping in this heat? My ankles are so swollen! Glad it's not so humid today.... x
