  1. Thanks for all your suggestions guys! Well, I suppose I could try giving Lion Poo a go but suspect that it's deterrent abilities will be short-lived. It also won't necessarily stop the rabid blighters from making such an awful racket in neighbouring gardens.... There is a stables by Dulwich Park... wonder if they might be up for some jump practice :)) I've never heard of the BBC guys - I've just googled and found a link (is it ok to post links on here?!) http://www.environpestcontrol.co.uk/ Is this them?! The alternative is to chain an angry Boris up outside... his wiffling would soon put pay to their noise (though might start it's own complaint thread). just supposing an East Dulwich Hunt was formed.... any suggestions as to the outfits :-)
  2. I am at my wits end! Does anyone else have problems with foxes - or rather, does anyone else have problems with the wretched noise they make from sunset to sunrise... There is a colony of the pestinential flea-ridden curs around where I live and they spend most nights fighting each other. I can only imagine that the sound they make is comparable with that you'd experience in an Essex nightclub watching two chavettes battering each other to death... Having researched potential disposal methods I've reached the depressive conclusion that, short of a nuclear holocaust, there is nothing doing. You can't poison or trap the disease laden vermin, ultra-sound devices don't work and the only legal disposal method is shooting the wretched creatures... which in a built up area is, apparently, a bit of no no... Suggestions most welcome.....
  3. IS it worth challenging the planning application - and if so is there anything specific we should be saying in our challenge that would benefit the challenge?
  4. But I deserve my Bonus!! I've met all my targets :-)
  5. Hmmm - this sounds as if it's all a bit too TPF to me (Tooting Popular Front) though in reverse. Come the revolution! Apologies for going slightly off topic here but... From my own experience of our current financial crisis I am somewhat despondant as to the fate of civilisation - only yesterday I heard about a case of someone in my firm moaning that their outgoings were $40,000 a month yet there income was only $10,000 and it was "our" (the companys) fault/responsibility to ensure they were "put right". And then only today I heard of someone complaining to HR that "they had met their targets and objectives for the year so why on earth should they not get the same bonus as last year" despite the fact that my firm has lost more cash than our entire defence budget for the last 2 years.... Admittedly both instances were in the US but I don't doubt some of my fellow colleagues in the UK feel the same. Bring back compulsory National Service!
