  1. Join us for this interactive talk about how we can keep fit. Julie Whitney is a clinical academic physiotherapist who is a lecturer at King’s College London and works clinically at King’s College Hospital. A New Year a New You! The talk will start after Coffee Morning. You are welcome to join us for coffee and tea before the talk; we are open from 11am. All welcome!     Join us together with The Arts Factory for an immersive art experience using soft pastels to capture the vibrant colours of seasonal foliage. Experiment with colour blending, shading, and layering techniques as we explore the beauty of fall leaves together. Perfect for all skill levels, the class provides all materials and reference sources to inspire your creativity. Tea and coffee included. Please enter via the Goose Green Centre.     Goose Green Coffee Morning is delighted to be hosting this talk by debut author Rachel Blackmore, who will discuss her historical fiction novel, COSTANZA, set in Baroque Rome. COSTANZA tells the story of Costanza Piccolomini, lover and muse of the world-famous sculptor Gian Lorenzo Bernini. We will be open from 11am for coffee, tea and cake; Rachel's talk will begin at 12 o'clock. Copies of COSTANZA will be available for sale. All are welcome to this free event!

    Carry Hornby will lead a workshop on Chinese Calligraphy suitable for beginners and also those with some experience in this beautiful art. Places are limited - please email [email protected] to reserve a place. Carry's wonderful sessions are always very popular so don't delay! The Calligraphy session will begin at 11:30.
