  1. Thanks Sue I shall try the Dulwich diverter, sadly not had much luck with GP or PALS 😪 Last push for donations if anyone is feeling generous I’d be so grateful ❤️ Merry Christmas all 🎄 https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/tmjhelp
  2. Morning all, just giving my fundraising efforts a little boost as seems to have stalled a bit in the hope that people will feel in the Christmas giving cheer! Once again I am really so grateful for any donations and desperate to have this surgery ASAP. I have tried emailing around Dulwich businesses, Woman's hour as suggested before, BBC local news but not had much success so am open to more suggestions too as how I could try and get more coverage and donations. Thanks again ❤️ https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/tmjhelp
  3. Hi all, thank you so much to the lovely people of this forum who have donated. I still have a very long way to go and appreciate anything anyone is able to contribute ❤️ I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for local businesses/establishments that may be able to help? I was thinking maybe Dulwich College? the link again is here https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/tmjhelp ❤️
  4. Hi Azalea, thank you for this! Yes I’ve reached out to BBC London but if you or people of this forum have any other ideas / connections I’d be very interested to hear them! Obviously Southwark News picked up on it but would like to raise more awareness of the condition and my fundraising for treatment. and yes it is very sad as I love being a nurse & midwife and am very keen to get back to it but feel frustrated that I have been failed by the NHS at my time in need.
  5. Oops sorry the link is here! https://southwarknews.co.uk/area/walworth/nhs-midwife-forced-to-stop-work-she-loves-due-to-debilitating-disorder/
  6. Hello all, I hope this is the correct part of the forum to put this on. I am a local nurse and midwife who is trying to raise some funds for medical treatment for complex surgery which I require on my jaw. I would really appreciate any support or just spreading the word around Dulwich! Thank you in advance x https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/tmjhelp
  7. Could I have a price list too please? Thanks!
  8. Thank you! I'll see if professional aid can help. A lot of the nursing bodies only give grants to qualified nurses, not students sadly but will see what else I can find. Thanks so much for your help.
  9. Hi IlonaM, thank you so much for reaching out! I have tried Turn2Us and have had varying success with some grants - a lot of the time I have found that they don't support students, even though I am a student nurse who received a bursary and not a student loan (the whole system changed recently) which means I don't receive very much money for my training compared to student loan receivers but, in terms of grants applications, I am still seen as a student - hope that makes sense! I'll keep trying though... Thanks for your advice!
  10. I am still trying to fundraise for my student nurse volunteer trip (medical elective) If you are able to help, in any way, however small, I would be so grateful! You can donate, here: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/amber-price Thanks again
  11. Thank you to the lovely person who donated after I posted on this forum, I am sending a big virtual hug! xxx
  12. Hello, I hope this is the right section to post. I am currently trying to do some crowdfunding for a nursing elective and just wondered if anybody here had experience of crowdfunding or asking for local businesses in Dulwich for donations? Would really appreciate any advice and here is this link: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/amber-price Thank You!
