Highly irritating noise let alone any dangerous riding. I believe it is usually parked in the front area of a house at the end of Tarbert for reg plate.

There was a chinook flying around over Green Dale way yesterday. Twas rather annoying and I just heard another. Is there something we should know? I know they seem to fly in and out of Woolwich but this was something different. Ta.

I am an experienced guitarist i. My 50s but have always wanted to learn some keyboard technique and voicing tips, particularly in the rock/jazz/pop/funk areas, but that is only my preferred taste. Posting here as well as in wanted section... I am a decades-long cyclist, musician and now of course, mobile-phone user. My posture is increasingly knackered and having looked up a few articles I'm looking for someone to diagnose and assist in fighting back. Does anyone have a recommendation with an idea of cost? My neighbour was burgled at around 2am last night- unfortunately his outer door hadn't been locked. Items stolen from porch after he had sniffed around the other houses. I hope no one else has the same tale. Be vigilant.

I tend to agree with Otto2 - avoid being in compromising situations. Without wishing to hijack or derail, passing Off The Cuff at 7ish last night, I was appalled to see a hundred or so people drinking and shouting in groups of more than two. Not for the first time. Ridiculous and irresponsible.

This could go in the Wanted section but I thought it may be more of a discussion. I'm one of those whose musical work has dried up and I'm finding it hard to see where things will go in the future. I am early 50s have been doing this since teenage years. Several big label albums under my belt as an artist but very interested in sound art/ambient/electronic/experimental too. Guitar is my main instrument and I'm looking for a person who is fun and sympatico and professional to go forward as a team doing something that will earn money at some point. Since this is unlikely to be performance, I'm thinking library and other things. Anyone compatible accepted. Are you interested - do you know someone? Cheers!

My son has had to leave work (in my opinion he has a cold but for work he can't be too careful) and now in order to go back to work he needs to get a test. Given the shambles we are in and the apparently almost secret nature of these pop-up places, does anyone know anywhere you can walk into (or maybe drive)? Thanks.

A guy in his c.early-mid 30s (grey tee shirt, pale jeans, orange (?) trainers, dark hair) just came round holding an extending aluminium pole with green plastic handles offering to clean the upper windows in the Hillsboro area. No bucket or anything else. When I declined he went off on a bike. It now turns out he had allegedly just physically assaulted a local child. Cops are being called, so be aware.

There are plenty of private school kids who are driven (and even drive.....) to school in this area precisely because of the number of those schools. We see it every day of normal school term. Anyone round here knows the streets are relatively empty of cars when it is holiday time.

I remember the 80s recession too, but I hadn't left homeat its peak. I think this may end up being just as bad but in different ways. It will pass, but like then, at a price. People can't afford to wait, unfortunately. Things will be grim.
