Does anyone know what clubs are offered in Charter North? and if there's good provision (ie it changes after a term?) -

Fuchsia & Ruth: LPPH (laughing post-partum hysterically)!! Yes, currently the memory of the trauma won't let me think that far ahead but good point, you are right to factor that in. Will get air con. Osmissus: Yes we have off street parking. Hmm good to know that your Ka is still going strong. Will have a look. How about parking and getting about in East Dulwich and surrounding areas, I guess the smaller the car, the better? And how much do you use the car now that your kids are toddlers? We didn't use use our car very much but since the arrival of baby, we have come to rely on it more now. I take it we'll only use the car more and more as the bub gets bigger? Hence, go for a car that's cheaper to run? -

Thanks katgod! Very to the point. Got it. Puke and fabric don't go. (now looking up to see which one's got the biggest boot) -
Hi East Dulwich Mummies and Daddies, Need a quick straw poll as we've just become new parents (writing this with toothpicks to hold my eyes open) As a parent, which would you find more usable: A Freelander 2 that has all the bells and whistles but unattractive interior or a VW Tiguan that is fairly basic but a nice interior. Both have park assist. The Tiguan is slightly newer. Your input would be much appreciated.

who's dreading going back to work??
itchyfeet replied to 2Loulou's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Thanks for the advice Jollybaby. I have a fairly demanding job as well and am trying to not get too stressed about it. However, the stress of work as well as the thought of having to secure a nursery now + go to all the check-ups + general feeling of being ill all the time (I'm around 7 weeks) is beginning to get me down. At the same time, I feel a bit resentful that males don't have to go through any of the physical/work changes women do but I know it's not my husband's fault. Any advice anyone as to how I can approach this process differently without feeling a bit depressed? -

Hi all, If there was anything you could have done, with regards to work, before you got pregnant or if you are in the early stages of pregnancy, to make the transition out of ML easier, what would it have been? I love my work and the thought of going on ML is scary but I do also want a family. Both my family and my husband's family do not live near us. I don't want to panic/feel torn at the end of ML (6 months). Thanks for all your posts above! Very insightful. -
Hi all! We always see parents and children walking to Goodrich and they all seem very balanced and happy folk. The children are polite and have manners, which is nice to see. Could someone please tell me what the catchment area is for Goodrich school?

Hi all, Can you please help? I've got two cousins coming to visit on Wednesday night, Dec 22nd.One is 12, the other is 21. After dinner, I'd like to do something fun with them eg ice skating or go out somewhere. But I'd like to stay within the Dulwich area. Any suggestions?
