  1. Keef, most games involving Stoke aren't memorable, their "style" , for want of a better word, is hardly easy on the eye.

  3. Well in Gazza

They are, not sure if they are Puma possibly Nike, he wears them for footie training and I believe they are supposed to enhance sporting performance, how, I wouldn't know.
  5. That is a horrible story, it kind of makes you wish to "hope I die before I get old", as Townsend once said. Trouble is I'm more or less there already. A sad indictment of the way we care (or more appropriately don't care) for our elderly. God help us all.
  6. My 19 year old son wears something similar to these but they are made by Puma, naturally.
  7. I'm sure this vest will sell in truck loads given that most of us are, accroding to research, overweight.
  8. Sandperson Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Us Rags will be out of business by next week I > expect. Unless of course Manchester City council helps out in the way the council bailed Real Madrid out, allegedly. OH, but there in lies the problem, the Rags aren't actually in Manchester are they. I guess they could try Salford council
  9. I don't read the Guardian but as Sean says, it looks like common sense to me also.
  10. Whilst on the subject of money, according to the BBC website the Rags may have to sell Rooney and Old Stratford to balance the books.
  11. While have to post some of his tunes on my "Why I love soul" thread when I get home tonight.
  12. I wonder if Benitez will claim it was a cunning ruse to get dumped out of the FA cup so he can focus on the Europa League. As for getting the order of the Spanish Archer, apparently that's not the Liverpool way.
  13. RIP Teddy. Love TKO, classic tune
  14. Not a good idea in my view no matter whether you agree with their views or are agin them. It will simply drive the movement underground and give credence to their belief that they are victimised by Western/Christian governments & authorities
  15. So this thread has little or nothing to do with Ross now?
  16. She - Charles Aznavour
  17. Jah Lush Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > That's good advice from the giggirl but if you look back to when the insults start flying. Guess who starts it? I'm sure don't have to tell you the answer. Hypocrite. Pot and kettle eh?
  18. Giggirl I meant no offence to you personally. I've just had it up to the back teeth with people who seem to take offence when their views are challenged and then get uppity when you have the audacity to hit back.

Piers, I'm sure she is what you say she is. However, I started off on this thread saying that I felt what he got (salary) was obscene and unjustified, for someone, in my opinion, that has little or no talent. My opinion. Of course it wasn't long, and I'm sure it was probably because it was me, before I had posters aiming personal comments at me and, rightly or wrongly, I retaliated. I will not sit still and be called names. I find many of the postings aimed at me just as offensive as those that, allegedly, cause offence listed by me. Unfortunately nobody seems to say an awful lot about these postings. Mick Mac said he didn't want to read FFS and WTF on the forum. Well let me ask you this, am I the only person on here that uses these? No. Does anyone complain when others do it. Again, no. I'm big enough to fight my own battles, but this thread was supposed to be about J Ross, and footballers got dragged into it, not by me, and descended into a free for all. I'm not the only one who should have fingers pointed in his direction for this.

And of course your posting is all sweetness and light, no bile here, or hissy fit to be found here. If you've got the time or the inclination, which quite frankly I haven't, I'm sure you'll find others that have expressed their views just as strongly. There is no joy because it's not a joyful subject. But then of course that's just my opinion.

Hooray, wit and humour in abundance. How do you do it? I bet you wink at yourself when you walk past a mirror and tell yourself how clever you are. Keep it up.
  23. Sandperson Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I am like the Earth to your sun Atila. My world > revolves around you. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww, that's nice. What beautiful poetic prose, almost Shakespearian.

Admit it, you can't ignore me can you, bless your little cotton socks. Erudite enough for you?
