Many of the victorian houses in East Dulwich were built speculatively and with poor foundations. They also suffered from heavy bombing during WW2. I wonder how they will cope with the extra weight of loft extensions.
Dog licenses were abolished in 1987. Before Britain changed to decimal currency they cost 7 shillings and 6 pence which became 37p. They were scrapped as they were unenforceable and cost more to collect than they raised.
Hi all
There is a water leak in the section of Friern Road from Lordship lane towards Goodrich Road.
Thames Water are already working in the road replacing mains.
Water pressure is reduced in Friern and nearby roads.
The newsshopper report referenced by Rockets refers to a different crash on Dulwich common on Tuesday morning. A 24 reg car was abandoned all day with its front left wheel hanging off, partially blocking the road in the direction of Lordship Lane.
