I would like to sing my praaises to nhs direct and seldoc for the fantastic treatment i received this evening, i was having breathing problems and phonedd nhs direct for advice at 5.50pm, by 6.04 a seldoc gp called me back and invited me to go to seldoc, i was there at 6.20 and taken straight through and nebulised, given steroids and had two doctors sit with me the whole time, i left seldoc about 7.10 breathing as near to normal as possible, a huge thankyou to dr dhokia and the lady dr whose i didn't catch, how can we say anything against this service,thankyou so very much.

MrsMc i believe most posts are referring to DMC Crystal Palace Road not Chadwick Road,Dr Duggan was at Chadwick also Dr Duggan retired end of May, also so many of other Drs dont stay with DMC at any of there surgeries, I wonder why?

I agree Forest hill rd is by far the best surgery around, i always see the same gp as does my daughter and her family, all we do is ask for an appointment with the gp we like to see, i think far to many drs leave dmc.

Ihave just spoken to my 97 y/o mum who was born in goodrich rd and she said opposite the castle pub was the bakers where they cooked on the premises and my grandad went over there for a hot crusty loaf every morning, i remember that when i used to stay with my grandparents, from what my mum can remember the dairy was on the the corner down from where mortons is,after that was when freda dee and her brother had it as a grocery store.
