The idea of combining these benefits into one is a sound and reasonable proposal, the real reason behind it was to save money and make it more simple and hopefully, fewer mistakes are made with over and or underpayments. What was not mentioned was the 3 billion pound cuts hidden within it, this has been the root cause of its failure and the cause of so much hardship, having your housing benefit paid in arrears and not in advance (the real world here folks)is also plain dumb, it will have to be paid out at some point. The tories really do not like the thought of people getting "something for nothing" without considering where the money comes from to pay for it. Us the tax payers!!

If you look at the top left on the browser you'll notice that it will either have just www. or HTPPS.www, the later being secure, East Dulwich Forum is not a secure site! But this was the norm up until a year ago, now must sites are secure the warning is just that, no need to worry.

If you bought a house unseen and went to visit the property and it turned out to be rubbish would you still go ahead and buy it?

Use the dental school at Kings College, it won't cost you a penny

Neighbours' cats using our garden as toilet

The cheapest and most effective solution that happens to be great fun! Invest in a water pistol as cats are well known to have an aversion to water! -
Park her up anywhere and give her a mobile phone or tablet it's all they want to do anyhow.

Best advice posted! Naming and shaming on social media certainly provokes a really good response as they want to be seen doing the right thing and avoid being lampooned

Balderdash! If you were on a hill then it would prevent the car from rolling off if the handbrake was to fail. The object of leaving then angled is to allow to pull out without having to manoeuvre back and forth to gain the space need to turn the wheel outwards in a really tight space.
-
Laugh out Loud! There's enough room to park, as a rule of thumb, when reversing into a tight spot (or not so tight) is that the last part of the manoeuvre should be that your front wheel is angled outwards enabling to slip out of even the tightest of spaces.

Advice request: parking ticket following an accident
Inbound replied to IlonaM's topic in The Lounge
It makes me wonder at the mentality of the wardens who thought a smashed up motorcycle in the ditch was parked illegally! I guess it must have made him/her feel great to be doing his civic duty? -
I always thought that the worst jobs should attract higher pay as one has to either break your back labouring, have your hands submerged in boiling water washing pots and pans, spend all day with your head down a toilet cleaning up everybody's shite etc. But no, you get further insulted with piss poor money. Whats the worst job you've ever had? I was an office cleaner once and when I was tasked with cleaning between the handrail supports with acid and a wire brush in a tall office block. where do park your brain?

I followed the Loire Valley for a hundred miles or so, nothing planned just cruised along and stopped off at towns cities and villages. I ended up on the Atlantic coast, beautiful! Wonderful countryside! Cities are half empty if you time it with the French national summer holiday.

anyone know good car hire without added extras in Malaga airport
Inbound replied to Minitoots's topic in The Lounge
All hire companies in Spain do have extras applied, some are transparent and reasonable, they will try and sell add-ons you'll get the option for the wheel, windscreen and underside protection, worth the extra and it means you are completely covered. I use this company, 5 mins from the airport and they will collect and drop off at the airport. Very good prices friendly people. https://www.malagacar.com/?utm_source=news090418&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=en&utm_content=logo -
You've sussed me! The Omnipresent watchdogs on EDF have sniffed out my rouse! Facebook constantly bugs me to upgrade from "just for fun" to a business, trying to drum up their business under the guise of a promotion! No matter, If you liked the page why not indicate so and then follow me!! I monitor it daily so any feedback or queries I will respond. https://www.facebook.com/RightClickable/

Hello Sue, Sorry to hear your problems, Concerning your laptop/printer connectivity Go to control panel then to devices and printers, find the icon for the printer, right click and delete the profile, scroll up and click on add a printer, it should then identify the printer and install a new profile, this might cure the scanner issue as well. good luck!
