If TFL want to do this, they need to change the minimum amount people can put on their cards. Some people can't afford to have ?3.80 on their oyster just so they could top up and use the bus. What's the total value they reckon just sits on Oyster card and is unused? Disgraceful really.

Spotted a fox eating blackberries on the railway embankment between east Dulwich and Peckham Rye this morning. I know they're pests but it was lovely to see as it was clearly loving them.

Does anyone on here own it, or know who might? I noticed it earlier and made a fuss of it. It has no collar and was quite skinny. Don't know why, but I had the feeling it was lost. When I walked past later on it was still there. Went back tonight and saw it again. I'm probably just being daft but I'm worried about it. Does anyone recognise it? I asked a lady in the street and she said its always there.

It was great. Sample the cocktail list and have that lovely shellfish spaghetti. It was 100 x better than the Drafthouse. I reckon that an American style diner would work well in that space.

Every time I've walked past the station since reporting this, there's been a sign on the door stating the station is closed "today" and to call 101 or go to Peckham

Update on this. I've received a response from the Met and have been advised that the station is open, but was closed at time we visited due to a short age of police officers on that date. It's never open though is it?

Thank you James - I have emailed them too. Because we didn't know exactly where Peckham police station was and it was also getting late due to the time wasted in Dulwich, I drove there. Got home even later and parked on a single yellow line (didn't realise it was) and have a ?65 parking fine for my troubles. Just a faff all around.

Last week myself and my friend walked to ED police station to report an incident, which we believed to be linked to be linked to a serious crime. Before we left, I checked the Met's website to make sure it was open. As you can see for yourself, the website clearly states that it is. http://content.met.police.uk/PoliceStation/eastdulwich We arrived to find the doors locked, with no written indication that it is unmanned. Due to the urgency of the situation, we drove to the Peckham station to report the incident. I've written to the council to ask that they update their site. It's pretty shoddy though.

Do you not think that the fact that they're utilising COBRA means that they have intelligence that suggests they need to? I'm fairly sure that all of the incidents have occurred and that could be linked to this haven't been reported in the press.

For info. The quote about never managing Chelsea is made up. He said he would never manage Everton or Man U. Chelsea are not rivals of Liverpool so it makes no difference. With regards to his comments about returning to Liverpool, he meant the city and not the club. It's been clarified since that the press misquoted him.
