  1. Can't believe how loud it was. Scared me enough being two mins down the road Weird how it was just the one strike
  2. Can't believe they are leaving the platform for that long. If ever there was an emergency to get out of there, it would bedlam.
  3. It might not be everyone's cup of tea (certainly not mine), buy I think it's a shame it's going. It was something with a bit of a different genre. Also not everyone can afford to spend ?15 on two drinks in the House of Tippler.
  4. It's gridlock at Goose Green
  5. I've been in the Adventure Bar twice. It smells like feet
  6. They are taking the piss now with the noise. Absolutely ridiculous.

  8. Humane traps don't work
  9. Can you point out to where he has been defended by a Liverpool fan on this thread please? We were all told last week how disgusting biting was, etc etc. I just assumed the same comments would apply in what appears to be a far worse situation. Silly me.
  10. A link gets posted about a fan having a chunk of his ear bitten off in a racist attack and no one even comments. No outrage this time?
  11. Where on LL did that happen?
  12. FIFA didn't mind him playing in the Confederations cup last summer did they? I don't remember a thread on here stating his ban should extend to International duty. Why might that be?
  13. Wow. The holier than thou attitude on here is brilliant. And as for "He's a big racist" should have added "fat" for extra impact there. Suarez is a nob and has been punished. I'll wait for the next 4-5 pages of outrage when another player does something controversial. Neymar's elbow last night? No comment.
  14. He's an idiot and deserves punishment. Ban him from playing in his domestic league though? Anyone would think he's quite good and you lot don't want him around. I'm guessing if he played abroad, no one would give a toss.
  15. Louisa Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Don't forget if they're field mice they're > protected and you can't touch them. > > Louisa. I'm afraid that anything that empties it's bowels where I prepare my food and hang my clothes is fair game
  16. There are gaps and holes all over though and as I'm on the first floor it's more than likely that they are coming in from underneath (i.e his shop). I just don't see why I should have to pay to mouse proof his property.
  17. I live in a flat above a shop and have mentioned to my landlord on more than one occasion that there are mice in the flat and that I have been trying to get rid of them. He hasn't even acknowledged the problem, let alone offer to help. I've bought various traps and have caught a couple, but I think prevention is the better solution. I need to stop them getting in in the first place. Has anyone been in this position before? I just want them out. Finding their droppings everywhere is grim and I feel like I am constantly cleaning.
  18. Do they still suggest testing if the vibrator is for you by holding it on the end of your nose?
  19. Thankfully our posty didn't post to ours as we left a sign out too. Grim seeing all the politicians posing with it.
  20. Thanks to everyone who has replied and especially those who have PMd and offered to lend a bike. I need to reply so will do later. :) I'm based by Liverpool street so thought of going the back route through Peckham Rye and over Tower Bridge. I definitely wouldn't attempt the Walworth Road/Elephant & Castle or London Bridge for that matter.
  21. Reviving an old thread. I'm seriously thinking about cycling to work and in all honesty I'd be doing it already if I wasn't terrified. I'm usually quite a confident cyclist, but having spent years on London buses and cringing watching cyclists over taken, etc it makes me really nervous. My bike is over at my Mum's in her shed and would need a serious service before it's road worthy again. Does anyone know of any places where I could hire a bike for a week before spending a fortune and deciding it's not for me?
  22. It might get delivered tomorrow. You could leave a sign on your door saying you don't want it.
  23. They knew not to bother posting it in Liverpool, but it was arranged to be delivered in the surrounding Merseyside areas. Loads of the posties have refused to deliver it in Skem and then other areas have done the same. Fair play to them http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/merseyside-posties-take-stand-against-7255204
  24. Not only are they allowed to continue publishing their filth, we're now having it forced through our front doors. If like us, you don't want your copy you can return it to them at News International's cost. Return address for all... FREEPOST The Sun London E98 1AX Remember their phone hacking? Their lies about Hillsborough and the many many other disgusting things that have been printed? Don't buy or accept the Sun.
