Hello Mark - I couldn't agree more about the "other" team, although I'm not sure who I'd rather face in Athens. It would be amazing to knock them out of CL final. My manager's a Chelski fan and he's terribly quiet today. Hee hee... Really want to watch the game tonight, but it's my housemate's birthday and we're going out. I don't think she'd be too pleased if I ditched her for a game of football, particularly as I told her to "shhh" in the Liverpool v Barcelona game (you know, the one where we knocked them out of the CL!!) Oh well, roll on May 23rd.:))

Keef - it's nice to see a fellow Kopite in ED. They appear to be few and far between. I've never sat in a pub for a Liverpool game and it's been so quiet. Did you watch it in ED last night? What a game....

A fine picture indeed, but doesn't too much for the reputation of girls who follow the sport!;-) I recently moved to ED and before we had sky sports installed, watched a few games in the Magdala. Is the Castle any good for football? I thought it was a "local pub for local people" so have stayed away. Although I am a local now, I wasn't too sure how the regulars would feel about a girl proping up the bar watching football....

I'd like to re-open Clare C's thread about the opening and closing times of Dulwich Park. During February and March, the Court Lane gate was open before 7am. Now it never seems to be open early in the morning and it's all a bit of a hassle trecking around to the village gate to walk the dogs before work. (I'd rather spend that time in the park!)I know that we can use the small gate near firemans alley, but sometimes you can get shut out there too. I realise that the official opening time is 8 - but I was wondering if anyone knows why it's so erratic?
