Do you lot realise that 80% of the posts on here are slating Liverpool. It's a shame you don't put as much effort in to backing your own team as you do slating ours.

This happened to me last year. It was horrible and they'd always be by the window so I assumed that's how they were getting in. Turns out they were just aiming for the lightest part of the room - no doubt lookin for an escape. I've a fireplace in my room so covered up the hole with a black bin bag and seeled all the edges. Fly problem ended, shortly after. I imagine a bird had died in the chimney breast or something. It was grim though - I feel for you.

No it was poor planning and gross negligence. No one thinks it was deliberate, but people put their trust in those that were meant to be there for their safety that day. Liverpool FC wrote to the FA to express their concerns about the Leppings Lane end and the over crowding that had occurred at previous matches, prior to the game on the 15 April 1989. Had the authorities put their hands up and admitted they'd got it wrong instead of starting a smear campaign then we wouldn't even be having this conversation. If I fuck up in my job I lose it and questions are asked as to why that fuck up happened. I don't get early retirement and a huge police pension.

Anne Williams want to know why fans had to try and resuscitate her son when there were dozens of ambulances being blocked from getting in to the ground. Anne Williams wants to know why Liverpool were given the smaller end of the ground when our support was almost double what Forest's was that day. Anne Williams wants to know why Hillsborough was allowed to be used as a venue when the safety certificate had expired. Anne wants to know why the CCTV tapes that were monitoring the Leppings Lane end have mysteriously disappeared. Anne wants to know why police statements and accounts were changed Anne wants to know why people had been crushed in the Leppings Lane end on previous occasion and nothing had been done to stop this happening again. They are just a few of the questions that Anne wants answered that have never been investigated since that terrible day. How dare this woman try by any means necessary to try and have those questions answered.

I need to ask you all a favour. Kevin Williams died at Hillsborough. He was 15 years old, he went to a football match and never came home. The coroner's inquest deemed that there would be no point investigating events after 3.15pm as none of the 96 that died would have survived. Kevin's mother has evidence that Kevin was alive at 4pm and had he simply been given oxygen he'd still be here today. http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/19149 Irrespective of your views about who was to blame, irrespective of football rivalries and who you support, many lives could have been saved on 15 April 1989 but ambulances and first aid was stopped from entering the Hillsborough stadium. I agree - the smell is rank and is worse in the evening. I run down there and hold my breath as it makes me gag.

We were in the Europa this season, got to the 1/4 finals (having played 4 qualifying matches too) and there is an additional knock out round in comparison to the CL and we haven't done too badly. A trophy is a trophy at the end of the day.

I find it very hard to take "passionate" United supporters seriously when I've been to their ground more this season watching my own team than they have ever been. And as for "Man U", like I've said before - I was always led to believe it's deeply offensive to United.
