Davy Watts is clearly looking for crumpet - ideally a larger bottomed lady... in Sainsburys! Just look at his previous posts.
  2. It has been a bit poor hasn't it? Shame.

Hal, At the very least, you should consider reporting what you saw to the local Safer Neighbourhood Team - this is exactly the sort of issue they deal with and given the levels of knife crime amongst young Londoners, I think what you witnessed is worrying behaviour and as R&A has mentioned, having such a knife in public, without just reason, is an offence. http://www.met.police.uk/teams/SNTnewsletter/southwarkeastdulwich.pdf
  4. For the love of God, Davy, please keep your shirt on. Why do men do this? A bit of sun and it's moobs out. It's a major faux pas that blokes make every summer. In fact, a friend & I were discussing this very topic in the park on Saturday - the rather unpleasant sight of the unbuff gentlemen of the parish going topless - not a good look. So, simple rules really - on the beach, in your garden and at a push whilst sunbathing in the park, it is OK. Running with your shirt off is an absolute no no. It will not win you a big bottomed babe.
  5. Er... Shouldn't that be "Slainte", HB?

I'm curious as to whether this person you mention has received a definitive diagnosis of BPD. Have she told you this or is this your interpretation based on their behaviour and history? Given her offending history, some degree of PD would not be uncommon. As Annaj said - decide your boundaries and stick to them. Do not be manipulated - she is responsible for her own behaviour, actions and the consequences thereof. Be explicit and clear about what you will and will not accept - Maybe tell her if you do not wish to be her friend or even acquaintance. Alternatively disattend to her - ignore her. Do not respond to emails/calls/texts if you do not want to be involved in anyway with her. And if you really are frightened of or feel threatened by this woman, then you must report this to the Police. If she is known to Mental Health or Probabtion Services then this information is helpful to them. Even if she isn't known to such services, a Police Caution (if grounds for such) will serve as some degree of feedback to her on the unacceptability of her behaviour and be noted on her Police record.

Obviously dump him is the response this post demands - but someone beat me to it! So.... Stick his nose in it. That'll soon teach him.

BBW, If you're a Bruegel (elder) fan then check out the Fleet Foxes album artwork - it's one of his works - Nederlandische Proverbs I think. Not sure if the music would be your thing though?!
  13. SueJ - I think that Italian restaurant was called Spaghetti Western? Used to go all the time when a student in the early 90's. And I remember some parties in the sports club owned by KCL on the playing field where Sainsburys is now. And traipsing through the underground tunnel( under the railway line) at night between what was the old St Francis Hospital to the main Dulwich Hospital site

Thanks for this BBW... Any advice on subsidence??
  15. Can someone tell me definitively what this film is all about?? Just watched it again.... Still don't get it. Schizophrenia? Parallel Universe? Pretentious Meaningless Nonsense? Harvey reborn for the 21st century ( even tho' it's set in the 80's?) Good music admittedly!
  16. And todays post in the Conspiracy Theories thread is why ( sorry, can't do the link...) Hilarious!
  17. Martin Shaw or Gavin Esler. Especially Gavin Esler.
  18. How very marvellous! But shouldn't that sheep be a pig?
  19. Back on topic; For some reason Springsteens "I'm on fire" has always made my skin crawl...

  21. Anyone else excited that this is coming to BBC4 next week? 18months since we first had Series 1. At long last! For those Mutha Uckas that missed it first time, you can catch up all this week on BBC4 - tonights episode at 23.30 is worth watching!!
  22. Deee-lite's Groove is in the heart. Dreadful, dreadful song. And years ago, in my student days, one Saturday morning, while watching The Chart Show, after too much the night before, this song or more precisely the video for it actually made me throw up. Still brings me out in a cold sweat.
  23. Lets not forget that EDF does not exist in a vacumn. Some of these "characters" described on this thread will have family/friends/other loved ones who may read or even contribute to this forum. To find out one is being discussed on an Internet forum could indeed feed into an already fragile delusional belief system... So when these "characters" relapse, their paranoia and sense of persecution, that people "are talking about me", is now shown to be true. Be a little bit more respectful. Just because a "character" is no longer so high profile or visible, does not mean they are not still living locally and possibly may come across this forum. Just my thoughts on the topic!
  24. I can take a hint HB...
