Ahh I love threads like this. I get my train from Beckenham now & it hasn't been late in the last 2 months & I always get a seat :-) Much prefer a train that takes 6/7 mins longer & is so hassle free!

I was first in the door & offered asking price during my first viewing, I knew it would go to sealed bidding & go for over asking price.

Sounds about right for a electrical report. You are paying for elecrical report & certificates needed.

I agree that it should be reported & may result in more police walking the said streets. Flower - I read that post. I don't see how plain clothed police can be a deterrant. Call 101 and they may be able to stop loiters like this. Just out of interest do people see police walking the streets on patrol anymore?

Agree on ED house prices. Gone crazy, especially in the last 6 months. I moved from ED to Beckenham few months ago. Thought I would miss ED, but love new area even more.

Liked the selection of beer & cider, always found it quite dark. Burgers can be very hit and miss, went last week & it was so dry, even at the second attempt.
