To my dismay after having reported the rather large hole/deformation of the road at Greendale to Southwark council last week, still nothing has been done about it. I'm just calling them again. It's on a cycle route and hundreds of cyclists including kids on their way to school use that route every day. In the dark it is near impossible to see it. A serious accident is waiting to happen. No one seems to be too concerned about it as it has been there for weeks. Would be good to know if JAGS have reported it also. Any info would be good and look out for it if you are cycling or driving that way!

Right I just got through and was told the following. The noise officers have been twice, and on the second visit have had to withdraw due to safety concerns which is very concerning living so close. He said there was nothing further to be done tonight. He recommended to email complaints@southwark.gov.uk which I will do alongside the other avenues.

I live just off Greendale, my house is shaking as are my nerves...!! On hold to the council noise line...either they are very busy or only have one person working tonight...! Will persevere.

Oh yes called it in straight away it was very frightening.

Just been woken up by three men breaking into garages on the estate off Townley Road. Clearly well equipped as managing to get in with relative ease, scooters with blacked out plates and completely covered faces etc. Any presents being hidden in garages probably not a great idea. Hoping police will catch them but scooters meant quick get away down the cycle path. Well planned and too easy for them! Shout if you saw anything.
