I sympathize! I had similar problems when a leaseholder, with Southwark council charging astronomical amounts and for appalling quality work. Good luck fighting it.

No to CPZ! First come first served seems fair

This could be very detrimental to Dulwich residents....we already have terrible transport links into London, no Boris Bikes, no black cabs to hail, no tube other than Brixton...3 mile walk for me, and a bus route where i am which takes 90 mins to get into central london! Sounds very much like they are prioritising improving longer distance commuting to London at the expense of "outer" London residents shorter commutes. I do hope the "consultation", as far as one can call it such, gets widely circulated in Dulwich before we end up with even worse transport options

Really sorry to hear about your burglary. I'm in West rather than East Dulwich but there does seem to be a huge increase in burglaries all over these areas recently. I disturbed a burglar in my house at 5.00am 3 weeks ago. His coming up the stairs woke me up. Very very frightening as I live alone but at least he ran off empty-handed. I do hope you might get some of your things back if he/they are caught.
