  1. Hello all, I'm Brad. My decorating company is called All-Round Renovation and is based in East Dulwich (Ivanhoe Road). Phone: 07980 662 456 Website: http://www.allroundrenovation.com/home.html I've been asked to start a new thread by the Forum Team. People have been recommending us on here for years and years and years... Then there was one thread started about us back 2010 by somebody that started to reappear again and again as people added their experiences to it, and it grew and grew. Heartbreakingly, a mistake with a general maintenance clear out by The Forum has accidentally deleted that thread, even though it was still being commented on as recently as last week. It's a lot of work to build a great reputation, so going from the most recommended decorator on here to the least in a single keystroke is a serious set back. I have faith, I love The Forum! I've found many good people on here for the work I've needed doing (mechanic, electrician, plumber), and the good people get the work. It's a great thing. The Forum Team have said that they can't re-instate the deleted thread, but they've said to start a thread about ourselves and they'll attempt to find bits and bobs (in some cache somewhere..?) and try to copy and paste them here. I mention all of this, because I'm hoping there will be a lot of posts in a suspiciously short amount of time... They are genuine! From genuine clients and genuine projects. We're just trying to rebuild what's been lost is all. Thank you to everybody that has ever posted about us! I think it's vulgar to comment on a thread about yourself, so, thank you in advance for any and/or all comments in the future! They really do make a huge difference and is greatly appreciated by us all. Cheers Brad 07980 662 456 *Edited to add link to website *Edited to add phone number to title
  2. We’ve had a cancellation for the next couple of weeks that we can’t fill. If anybody needs anything, let me know.
  3. Could you explain how, please? Older posts pointed to Photobucket, but you need to pay monthly/yearly. I just earn to embed an image or two a year! If that. Cheers Brad
  4. Hey all, The Congestion Charge hours and days have changed in the last few weeks!! It?s now EVERY day. No more free weekends. And it is now until 22:00. No more free theatre/cinema/dinner trips. No communication of the changes. And no warning letter when you unknowingly enter at times that used to be free. Just straight to a fine. Cheers Brad

  6. Hey all, It get a big thumbs up from me. It's not The Vale. There should be a local holiday and carnival introduced to celebrate the death of that aggressive, negative shizerhole. The Cherry Tree is great. The food was excellent: I had pork belly. Genuinely slow-cooked - soft meat, crisy skin (I've had plenty of pork belly that SAYS slow-cooked but the meat is firm and the skin is chewy...). It's not The Cheapest. But then if you want The Cheapest then you were happy with The Vale and all its football-shirt-wearing skinhead glory. Go there! It's new and it's not owned by the same people that own half of East Dulwich (Bishop, Actress, Great Exhibition, Rye...) - it deserves a tenner of your money to make up your own mind. Cheers Brad
  7. That and they charge(for legal reasons I have to add a 'd' to that) for you to go in and watch the football! Cheeky. It's the only time I've been in there... Wouldn't have bothered but the game was literally just starting. Is there actually anywhere in ED to go and have good Geekout on the dancefloor..?! Would love to know, if anybody has any ideas. You can dance in the The Liqourish, but you have to play it a bit too cool for my liking. Dancing and Geek Dancing are very different things.
  8. No horses. They buy you a pint on their round, but ask for a bucket of beer for themselves when it's your round... Most rude. Glad lurkers are welcome, btw. I'll slink in, gawp for a little, then ambush the ones least likely to turn on me like a pack of dogs. See you all on Fri! Cheers
  9. Hey All, I had a great time last time. Everyone that I spoke to was really welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, I don't really have time to post and chat on the forum too much (I'm not office or home based), is it a faux pas to just come get drunk with you all...? Or will I be shunned into the corner with people giving me disapproving side-glances and talking about me loud enough for me to hear ("I've heard that he lives in SE5", etc.)....? I'd like to be a fully-functioning member of the ED Beer Forum! :)-D Cheers
