  1. Honestly I'd try to avoid wood. Even engineered could turn sour when enough water stays there long enough. My personal experience is either put Vinyl underneath the appliances and the rest could be engineered with the proper connecting threshold. Or.... you can put laminate. Have you considered this? For example Quick-step can give you some pretty good experience with their impressive ultra series that are designed for bathrooms and kitchens, can repel dust and other stuff. Yeah could be expensive but it will be long lasting. And you can even install it yourself. Check out this article here https://www.floorworks.co.uk/wood-floor-fitting/laminate-floor-installation
  2. I can only recommend so far people who could put the base and flooring after the building is up. Let me know here if that would be beneficial for you.
  3. Have you tried this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/Whats-Big-Secret-Talking-about/dp/0316101834/ref=sr_1_13?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1480599020&sr=1-13&keywords=sex+education It's pretty good and is included in several list of best books for sex ed for kids. Good luck! I know it can be awkward but keeping calm and answering any questions that may arise could prove pivotal for the relationship you would have with your kid in the future.
  4. Hey, a proven natural medicine for tummy ache is blackcurrant juice. Every time my little one has a diarrhea or vomiting I buy the juice and the good results are almost immediate. Good thing is that it's juice and it's sweet so kids are less inclined to decline it and with some salty crackers can actually help them feel full. I use it on me and everyone who has these types of problems.
