  1. I'm no more concerned than any other year. Just amused that something at least as disruptive for me as the festival, lasting much longer, seems set to to pass by with nowhere near the fuss.

This idea has occurred to me also, although I have no idea if it could be viable unfortunately. How much would people be prepared to pay for a return do you think?
  3. I get an overground from forest hill to Croydon then the tram to Mitcham. Same journey time as uber but a fraction of the price. Agree with everything else btw.
  4. As a resident of Melford Road this sounds like great news if it all turns out to be true.
  5. Will it mess up the grass?

  7. Any sentence which starts with "I'm the kind of person who..."
  8. It was now of a queue avoidance question, not such an issue right now as it turns out having been at the game so happy to use the bar. Unlucky yesterday. Lots of possession in the second half, need to get some shots away..
  9. Whats the score with taking beers in at the ground at the moment? Obviously not as significant as shares etc but life goes on...
  10. I'm at the Wood Vale end of Melford, so really close. Different people are definitely effected differently by the same levels, I rarely notice it even with the all the doors and windows open.
  11. To my understanding Sky Talk Talk etc would still need access to the exchange to install their equipment so no change there as you say. Virgin if you really want to may be OK but you'd have to go through the whole process. I'd just accept I have to wait and ask my new neighbour nicely if I can borrow their wifi code, it's one way to get to know the neighbours.. That and set my phone up as a wireless hotspot until the problem is sorted, 4G is pretty quick anyway.
  12. A car is parked on the street. Is that it? Have I missed anything?
  13. Sunday morning and Lee has just left us from an urgent call out with a kitchen sink problem. He's a good guy, found a cheaper solution to the problem, and we will definitely use him again. Recommended.
  14. Mmm - petrichor.
  15. I'm just channeling the Fonz.

Halfway to the classic combination anyway.
  17. It is. It's also mine to say they should have just took it on the chin instead of trying to get off on a technicality, ending up costing the council the effort they put in to defend it, which is a fair few quid they could have spent elsewhere. Or just not not stopped there in the first place.
  18. Or just don't stop in the bus lane. Possibly a bit blunt but it's not that hard surely? There are big white lines on the road which must surely have at least raised some suspicion no?
  19. I had a funny one yesterday at work. "This is BT ,and we have detected unauthorised access and use of your internet connection by strangers from abroad, can you confirm your details?" "Well, at the moment you are strangers from abroad, so where do we go from here?" They put the phone down.
  20. Can I ask what the level of recorded accident / injury etc is on this road please? Does anyone know?

Decide heads is ED, tails is Honour Oak. Toss a coin. Trust your immediate gut reaction if you're disappointed or relieved at which ever way it comes up. YKIMS.

  23. I'd hope the council had included this in the charge paid. And are we serious about the dangers of twisting as ankle in long grass as a real peril..?
  24. So do we have any actual evidence or stats on accidents on this road? My personal impression is traffic is slower than it was say 5 years ago on Barry Road, but that's just an impression.
