  9. You might be able to get a higher strength, which would reduce the size of each dose (2.5ml rather than 5ml) I think having a sweet or some milkshake ready to gulp after can help Also try giving a dose while in the bath Giving one late at night (trickle it into her cheek)

  11. When I lived in ED and made a complaint, the answer was that several of their drs were on maternity leave. Hardly an excuse.
  12. Would be interesting to know how many doctor hours are provided, relative to the number of patients. It is surely having insufficient sixties that lies at the bottom of this?
  13. Though there is nothing like seldoc. You go to urgent care, out of hours, and queue for 2h!
  14. I now live out of London, and at our new practice it's always possible to get an appt on the day or a phone appt, even if you ring at lunchtime because a child is ill at school, they can be seen that evening! Even to see a named doctor, appointments can be booked for within a week or so. There are usually 6-8 GPs in surgery at a time. This is so radically different to how the model works at DMC! Why?
  15. The Bridge is a nice pool - that's Beckenham isn't it? No slides though. But has shallow steps and they have sessions where they put toys out. And they always did accept two under 5s to one adult.
  16. My son was referred by school with suspected dyspraxia, due to clumsiness, trouble with holding a pen, fidgeting. Have a discussion with the senco at school, or with your gp and ask to be referred to sunshine house?

  20. Children never seem to wake each other. But best option anyway is mum and newborn In one room, other parent and toddler in another!
  21. Do you have a partner? Mine has always taken over the toddlers before the new baby arrives. Only way, I think! (Unless the partner has a job where being tired is dangerous)
  22. What were her ks1 results? The school will have progress targets for her based on those, to gve you an idea where they see her academically
  23. I saw Christine in pregnancy and she was fantastic for positive thoughts and emotional centering as well as refresher of hypnobirthing.
  24. That is all correct. There did use to be a different criteria about 'closest community school' but that changed quite a long time ago, and the 'tactical' element went with it.
