  1. Thanks! Someone else told me who/what they were. Ordered some aloo gobi from them for a party. Delicious.
  2. Hi Who are these two sisters? Do they provide a catering service? Am looking for caterers of Indian cuisine for a dinner party. Thnks.
  3. Hello, Wondering if there is a bridge club in ED or beginners' classes? Thanks.
  4. Thanks everyone. Think I'll have to just pay it!
  5. Hi, I was surprised to receive a PCN for driving in a bus gate on Townley Road with the junction of Calton Road. Looking at the photos sent, I am puzzled as to where else I could have driven to get to the end of the road i.e. it seems to be the only option. It was at 17.54. Anyone else caught out like this? Or appealed against a contravention in the same location? I want to challenge it but thought I'd cast around for opinions / advice. Thanks.
  6. Hi, Found a grey cardigan draped across a bench in Dulwich Park. Have taken it to the park office near the tennis courts by the Dulwich Village entrance to the park.
  7. Hi, Sent you a PM but don't seem to have been added to the whatsapp group yet... SS
  8. Me too! Have sent you my email...Thanks.
  9. I wonder if I saw the same guys two evenings ago...on their bikes and riding on the pavement, and fast, on Friern Road, at the corner of Goodrich. Very unsettling.
  10. Aria, Dan and Michael replaced a macerator. Called this morning and they managed to come round in the afternoon! All fixed. Good price, VERY prompt attendance, and polite and helpful. Will definitely recommend and use again.
  11. We used to have a similar problem with the wild patch (can't call it a garden) next door. Every summer I would send a note to the tenant, appealing to their sense of cleanliness and neighbourliness (we even offered to send someone round ourselves the first time!). This would result in an annual blitz, which at least helped for a while. Now we have new neighbours who take an interest and look after what has once again become a garden. So try approaching the neighbours first? Offer to help? Good luck!
  12. Sorry I didn't make it. will try and join you another time.
  13. Thanks everyone. Lots of tips here so will try what we can. Of course, since I wrote the post, no tripping!
  14. Hi all, Need some help please. Our BT broadband (Infinity is what they call it) keep tripping and constantly needs to be reset. BT says it is probably a problem in our house and will charge to come and have a look (?129 plus VAT!). Anyone experiencing anything similar? Or has any tips on how to fix this? Thank you.
  15. Would absolutely second that! Aria came round on a Saturday evening and got the job sorted out within days. Polite, very professional and tidy. In fact, this is the second job he has done for us.
  16. Thanks. Wish I'd thought of it earlier to arrange something in ED.
  17. Hello, Do you know if there is a Great Get Together (in memory of Jo Cox) in or near East Dulwich this weekend? Thanks.
  18. And apparently is already using the card stolen (as told by one of the park attendants). Hope the victims is OK. Take care and beware contactless cards!
