Hi All, I'm currently in the process of evaluating quotes for a loft conversion. I have 2 lofts, the one over the main section of the house has insufficient headheight and lowering the floor would destroy the quality of the living space below. However the top floor is split level and the loft over the outrigger is perfect to add on a rear dormer without going anywhere near the current ridge height. The costs V the space created ratio works out well if the dormer extends the whole length of the outrigger, but I don't see many in the area extending out the whole way. The ratio gets questionable the further I push it back. Does anyone have any experience with submitting full outrigger length plans and Southwark pushing back? If so by what distance? Any help much appreciated. KR Abby
