I can answer all questions... The kid's room won't be open until early July, due to a few planning issues, but families are more than welcome in the back half of the pub. The booze offering is a little more than 'mid-market'...I'd like to think. It's been packed for two days straight now, which has been a surpise, to say the least. ta

work started 'proper' today. 6 weeks until doors open. Already uncovered an unknown Sky light/dome thingy which is brilliant.

were the dates dodgy because of the florence ? Wishing well (soon to be The Victoria Inn) should be open in about 6 weeks. The Uplands is trading until the end of April and then it'll be a 5 week refurb. I am in the process of learning to tweet so that anyone who is remotely interested will be able to follow the progress of both...
