Sorry, herbalists need not reply > as I do not believe in pseudo-science. 2 bananas? Gross over-estimation, I think ;) Treatment on the NHS was discontinued a few years back, there was too much demand and the system couldn't cope.
  5. And back to the clowns...
  6. Now you're all back to keep the thick people in the lounge (well, me) company, I'd agree with Keef - Slash uses a Les Paul. Discussed. But I think the SG looks better. Brendan - the rosewood neck has ruined the strat for me, I'm afraid.
  7. Well done MM, your faith has paid off then! I still think Ghaanati is a good filly, and she's only 3, so plenty of racing in her yet. I can't remember Paco Boy's run at Ascot, I think I was there as well. Back to the drawing board for me then....
  8. Ghanaati won for me at Ascot, so I'm sticking with her. My only winner that day was 2/1 fav, but nevermind. Rip Van Winkle for a place.

So, although it's another 15 days off work for all the shirkers out there, it's only going to happen once in your lifetime.
  15. MrBen don't get too excited, it wasn't very country. There were no tractors for me to crash, and the buffalo wasn't there this year. But it's still worth going. I just don't think it'll remind you of your childhood!
  16. I'm convinced, I have to read it now, even if just to see what all the controversy is about. Cynical marketing ploy? It worked.
  17. I'll look out for them, thanks. On the same lines, "A Piece Of Cake" by Cupcake Brown is well worth a read. Alex Wheatle is pretty good as well(and the books are set in and around Brixton).
  18. No, I'm in need of enlightenment. Any ideas? Is it even edible? (Doesn't taste particularly good). But then again, like your other half MM, I like the fact that it takes 5 mins, so I'll put up with it! Oh, and if any hero wants to come round and unpack......
  19. What's it about? If you can put it down long enough! I need a good book, anyone else with any recommendations?
  20. I had it with Tescos. I ordered coconut milk, they didn't have any, so I got a tub of (solid) coconut oil. What do you even do with that?!

    Guitar advice

Thanks for all the advice. I sold it for ?250 in the end. Andystar - I'd tried the tuition book route, but it wasn't happening!

    Guitar advice

I have a guitar (Fender Strat) to sell, which I advertised as a Mexican Strat. I've just looked at the serial number though, and it is a Japanese import model, circa 97-98. What does this mean in terms of value? All I know is that I bought it for about ?400, and have hardly touched it since I discovered I'm not Jimi Hendrix, so I just wanted to ask for any advice before I try to find it a new home! Thanks.
  24. Camberwell snooker club appears to be shut too. But it isn't. Anyone for a few frames?!
