  1. I'd be happy with a Sainsbury's as it's on my way home from work. I hope that rumour is true!
  2. I fancy Yeats as well. Did cross my mind that Mourayan is from the same yard as Sea The Stars, but I'm in danger of turning into a John Oxx groupie. But no more bets for me either.
  3. I think it will be Kite Wood. But I'm putting my money on over 2.5 goals in the Spurs/Man U game instead, so we'll see. So lay both of them, that's probably the safest option!
  4. I have a cat for hire. I won't feed her for a week, so she's good and ready. The trouble is, you'll need to get rid of any frogs and birds first, as she's partial to them. It amazes me how much of a mouse is edible. The only bits I ever find left are the intestines. So there's a foolproof method, problem solved!
  5. Not this weekend then. He looks unstoppable!
  6. ???? - I think it's the lack of cash in my account! Nice trade btw, I had traded spurs....but I need some tips now
  7. Ob La Di Ob La Da - The Beatles
  8. Heart of Glass - Blondie
  9. Are there stitches? BBW I'm glad I'm not in the RAF and never will be, do people still pull out teeth on the cheap now? I guess they must. Doesn't bear thinking about though. My bathroom is going to turn into a shrine to listerine, don't worry! No more infections for me, I've had enough of them! They did have a cancellation today, but I didn't think you should pull a tooth out with an infection?
  10. I was impressed when I went, I was only waiting for an hour. I thought I'd be there all day! And I'm not worried about getting them out, it's afterwards. Can I have sedation for 2 weeks please?!
  11. Thanks forall the messages, sorry for feeling so sorry for myself....I thought I'd escaped wisdom teeth. I'm not registered with a dentist, so am going to the Dental School at Kings. I work at Kings anyway, so I have no excuse!
  12. Gin sounds like a good idea PGC! When I got an infection a couple of years ago, a colleague recommended co-codamol, which definitely helped - that might help Peckwich? I think I'm trying to grind them down too, but it's not helping!
  13. BBW, what's wrong with Basildon?! I would have thought you'd enjoy a night there with the local girls ;)
  14. I'm having them extracted in 2 weeks. I know that it's not particularly painless, and am not looking forward to it too much, but it has to be better than this - I can't open my mouth wide enough to eat (which, lets face it, is what's getting to me most), my jaw aches, my head hurts. Yes, I'm a wimp. And I'm listening to George Michael. It must be bad......I need some sympathy!

There's also one on Monson Road, a real Millwall pub.... The Robert Peel in Camberwell, don't ever go there on St George's day. It has a dart board, you have to question the wisdom of that!
  16. What about all the honest jockeys? Hands and heels all the way to the line, all of them......
  17. No, I live just by the toll gate and it's 75p each way for residents, as Keluar has said. But I've never heard the one about insurance not paying out for accidents on private roads......most of Dulwich is a private road! (I don't drive, so the toll isn't a problem) There are 4 trains an hr to Vic from Sydenham Hill, but it is deserted at night, and the walk from the platform is quite long, through the woods. That said, I've never had a problem (touchwood). I wouldn't walk on Low Cross Lane (the path opp the station) on my own in the dark, but that's about it. In terms of pubs, the only ones near are the Alleyns Head, which isn't great, and the Woodhouse. But Crystal Palace is about 20 mins walk, and there are loads :) I don't know about schools, I'm afraid, and as for the dogging on Grange Lane......I'm off to investigate tonight ;)........(there's not too much nightlife, if you can't beat them, join em!) PS you get your own family of foxes on the communal gardens in Breakspeare as well
  18. OK, I've just looked it up on YouTube. Anything, so long as it's not Scouting for Girls. Sorry, I stand corrected.....
  19. Live and Let Die ...GnR. Never seen a Bond film though.

  21. I didn't realise Sea The Stars was running on Tuesday, I thought he was a non-runner - does anyone fancy a trip to York? (Although I am tempted to lay him, and then go and water the course:))
  22. Admittedly, I could use a local pub right now :)
  23. I'm in West Dulwich. Managed to find a home for a cat on the forum there as well - proof that at least one person posts on it! (Other than me).
  24. Stephen Hawking. Michio Kaku. Or maybe that's just because he completely loses me within 3 chapters. Edited because that doesn't say where they are. I hope there are some in the financial sector, obviously theoretical physicists think.
