Hello Dulwich mums and dads, I'm a Herne Hill mum with a 7-month old baby and have just launched my first children's story book. It's all about the bolshy, cacophonous parrots of Brockwell Park and encourages children to stop and notice nature all around them. It's written in rhyme and has been illustrated by another local mum, Jenna Herman, who uses line drawings with washes of oil, acrylic and watercolour. We've also teamed up with the brilliant Bumble Box of Herne Hill, to create a lovely book and bird activity box - perfect for little explorers.
