Bit early I know but I left the tree out for collection today as it's bin day - Southwark Council website says they collect them - but they didn't take it. Anyone else had this/know what I can do?

Hi just picking up on this thread because I've booked online with Southwark to have a sofa frame taken away but the email does say "please ensure that items are not longer than 180cm"... The sofa is about 20 cm more than that. Any recent experiences with this? Cheers

A guy on bike, cycling quite slowly towards me on the pavement on Blenheim Grove, tried grabbing my iphone as he passed. It was at 12.30 today and there was no one else about. He had his hood up and head down but I didn't realise what he was planning till it happened. So, watch out if you see anyone behaving like this and don't have smart phones on show!

It was half way along Oglander - the cat came from over a fence on the corner of either Marsden or Muschamp Rd. I suppose it's possible the driver didn't realise.

I was just walking up Oglander road and saw a cat, which as far as I can remember was ginger/black with white legs, and a car drove over it. The cat was thrown around but managed to run away. I looked around for it but I guess with the shock it went and hid. Just wanted to post this in case it is your cat & you might not realise if it has internal injuries. Hope the poor Moggy's OK! Thanks
