  14. My old nan, bless her, had a habit of writing to various companies complaining of various faults. All food related, usually confectionary. As grandkids, we could never understand why there was a reliable supply of sweets and chocolates under her bed, but pre computerisation, I guess her shenanigans went under the radar!
  15. We used Co-Op funeral place in Catford, they were brilliant JohnL Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Fine Fare was around in the 70s too. > > Co-Op Funeral guys still around as they're > opposite me, only shop to regularly paint over > graffiti on their wall.
  16. I've been in ED more years than I care to number, and Co-Op has always seemed on it's last legs! It's stunning how the management seem to be allowed to be absent/uninterested in what goes on in the shop, and seemingly oblivious to the bad publicity! I've always gone to the top/head office when I've had to complain. Never on the shop floor, no point Loutwo Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Foxy, that seems to be the case across the Co-op > estate. 22. I think a lot of this is to do with the increase in foot fall, obviously. Pre lockdown, certain times in the park were almost eerie in the feeling of emptiness, now you can't swing a cat. At any time. And I get that it's everyone's park. I'm not excusing any particular behaviour. This kind of thing happens with too many lab rats in an enclosure.. brightfield1975 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > The situation in Dulwich park is getting out of > control. 24. A friend in Berlin said the population have been given Ffp2 masks, that are good at protecting wearers apparently. Unfortunately they are disposable, but you can buy them if it puts your mind at ease
