  1. I've also been obsessed with Shtisel on Netflix, never in a million years would I have thought that a family drama set amongst orthodox Jews in Israel would enthral me so. 3rd series eagerly awaited!
  2. New series of Unforgotten on ITV (available on catch up)is a firm favourite, this is series four, if you've never seen it, Netflix has 1-3 to watch and give yourself a treat!
  3. Couldn't agree more admin! I really like to see all the people on here reporting various side effects/none and it makes me slightly optimistic about the future, finally...

  5. ...I imagine the government will publish that guidance when we also get the update of what is acceptable pub grub...fingers crossed the scotch egg still makes the cut.... He's already said they're not repeating the food in pubs debacle..

  7. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m000s7lr This is a link to the BBC radio4 programme More or Less, it specifically looks at the way Covid deaths are recorded compared to our European neighbours and is an interesting listen.

  10. > believe what they are fed on the TV without doing some checks for themselves A favourite line from my now ex lodger. Depressingly enough, his main source of alterative info was Youtube. Fair enough, like I said to him, it's not as if they let just anyone on there...oh...
  11. I love this area for the hills, and keeping my beloved city in view during lockdown. I discovered the golf club view by accident, now I get there regularly. Waiting for the mud to clear from Sydenham woods and I can discover a different way home.
  12. I had Pfizer, absolutely no side effects.
  13. You need to make this into a SurveyMonkey type questionnaire with example pages studentem Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I am a student in my 3rd year of university > I am currently designing a book library web > application with elderly people in mind. > > If you are willing, please answer the questions > below: > > 1) Do you prefer larger or smaller text? > > 2) What level of functionality would you want the > application to have? 14. I miss this place and the staff, during the other lockdowns they were offering a takeaway service at the door, does anyone know if he's ok, or planning to resume when things open up again? Thanks
  15. Out of interest, did everyone get a follow up date when vaccinated? I haven't yet, but some have
  16. Also, is this the right time to pollard trees? Spring, nesting season soon

I'd recommend you give 119 or your surgery a ring and offer to take up a last minute appointment (if you are able) because it seems unfair that I'm offered, as a non carer, and you are not!
  18. Has anyone on here had a bathroom revamp and decided against having a bath? I'm really undecided, but never take a bath! (the waste of water mainly) If you have done this and regretted it tell me why? The room is small with no window and I think it could look great with the right builder, but I want opinions
  19. Can guarantee it wasn't the first time, people who feel confident in front of work colleagues and in uniform to abuse members of the public obviously feel emboldened and/or enabled by a lack of policing or negative reaction. As someone who has been o the receiving end of this type of shit too, I'd be disappointed at a 'slap on the wrist' or an opportunity to make amends from the offender. alice Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Just looking at ACAS information. 23. I think this misses the point. It's for inspiration, for new ideas. I'm veggie so never going to buy a lump of mince and do things to it! I want ideas and flavour combinations I can then take forward to my cooking. In short, I know what I like, but want to be open to new experiences. jazzer Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Check out https://www.bbc.co.uk/food to get > inspiration if needed. > IMO these boxes are an expensive fad. 24. I'm exactly the same! Will do a limited trial for inspiration in the future, but not long term. Mainly because as a singleton I am obliged to make a meal for 2, so will be having 2 meals out of it every time! quirky Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I?ve had enough of my boring meals, I?m not > creative and really not in the mood for looking up > interesting recipes. 25. My favourite spider, a false widow I'm told, had a showdown with another spider much larger than her. I had to leave them to it obviously but was relieved to see her victorious in the morning!
