  2. A group of us want to remember a dear departed friend who we all met because of his Rye activities, any idea who to contact or what the first port of call is? Has anyone here done this before?
  3. Think I'd approach my local councillor and ask them how to arrange it donm101 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Thank you for the detailed reply. Lockdown meant most shelters went empty because of the demand. Now the times have changed and shelters are experiencing high numbers of surrendered dogs again unfortunately, many under a year old.
  5. Dog's Trust Freedom Project. Looking after a dog so it's owner (domestic violence sufferer) can break free. It's so worthwhile Riverwind Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Good evening all > > I would like to foster a dog and I am wondering if > anyone has any recommendations for places close by > apart from the well known Battersea dogs and cats > home? > > Thanks
  6. You need to call the noise team whilst suffering the noise nuisance and they will come out. Alternatively wander around after dark and try to pinpoint the sound and then call the noise team Femke Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'm quite sure half the neighbourhood has hardly > slept since the early hours of this morning. 7. "The destination of this bus has been changed"! This! And the endless being held at stops 'to regulate the service' means I have largely given up on buses altogether
  8. When I worked in the M&S next to the library, we also had a leak and non functioning toilet for a while. New build!

    No, sir

When I can't remember the name of an acquaintance or neighbour, I use sweetheart or my love. I began doing this a lot years ago when working in Bermondsey, everyone else did!

  14. And I really don't fancy leaving the house in me dressing gown, looking for the bleeders! No question I would report if I know who it is PSJ Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I live round this way too and it seems like every > other house has scaffold and a skip at the moment. > Definitely seen a few builders working deep in to > the weekends. 17. Is there any prohibition on works (not DIY definitely) on a Sunday? This was before 8am, I'm in the Playfield/Colwell Road area.

  20. Does he normally wear a collar, and do you have a photo?
  21. I had to ring my GP and insist they send out an invite code. I'm not with Tessa Jowell normally. GP insists it's not their remit, but I just stuck to my guns (politely) and received it whilst I was on the phone to them.
  22. I'm really sad to see this, as a regular user of this shop, I had no idea! Hopefully the new place will fill the gap
  23. Does anyone use one or can recommend a brand? I'm finding mysterious dry patches/rash/itching and assuming my cotton masks are a bit rough
  24. Well said, Blah Blah
