But every instinct of mine is screaming no, tbh!

  7. How do males of middle age make friends, I'd like to know. My brother is a loner and I'd like to encourage more social interaction, as it's crucial for mental health. He does not work.

'After weeks of wall-to-wall coverage of the Brexiters - be it Nigel Farage or the circus of Tory leadership candidates - it was Remain which came out triumphant in the end. The Lib Dems, Greens, SNP, Plaid and Change UK vote share, so far, was 40.4%. The Brexit party and Ukip together was 34.9%. If you - rather crudely, but not altogether unfairly - add the Labour vote to Remain and the Brexit vote to the Tories, it comes out even starker. Just 44% for Brexit parties and 54.5% for Remain parties.'
  9. Does anyone do this? Just interested in the nearest place?

  16. Get a months rent in hand. Include everything, unless you think they may have the heating on constantly, or use all your broadband! A big area of contention is cleanliness, people have differing standards, so you could always charge enough to get a cleaner?
  17. Very common near me. My bugbear is work starting before 9am on any bank holiday. I never lie in because of various neighbour noise but the grass cutters are the most annoying!
  18. Thanks ED_Pete!
  19. I'm looking for the very useful link posted which had details of some lovely sounding walks within easy reach of London. Some Italian friends over here would find it really useful
  20. I want to pass on my old android phone to a friend now I've upgraded (he is unemployed) I can go through the phone and uninstall apps but what else to do to wipe it clean of any trace of me?

    Moths again

Why do the many spiders I reside with (willingly I might add) have a problem keeping the moths at bay? I see they tend to catch all sorts of other creatures..
  22. It's all part of the push to card use, restricting easy access to cash.

  24. Not a star particularly, but some people may recognise Eileen of West Dulwich, a regular on London radio, and such a character. Lovely woman.
