  1. Anybody else noticed that the camera that was fixed high on a lamp post just after the Salvation Army building near Denmark Hill train station has suddenly disappeared? Seems like this is to allow for so much more traffic trying to go somewhere in light of this consultation.
  2. It's a shame, but you either use it or lose it. I think I'm the only one on my street that puts out my blue/green/brown bins just outside my gate to help the bin men collect it easily. Most of their time seems to be taken up by dragging bins about that should have been left within reach on a certain day (according to leaflets put out years ago) and should be common sense. I often hear the bin men cursing and shouting about how people have left their rubbish to be collected with no thought to them!
  3. According to the public notices in yesterdays Southwark News this is going ahead and is ?2.00 payable using 'Pay by Phone' in Southwark Parks. Lots more jargon but then says © to provide a solo motor cycle bay, in which solo motor cycles may be left without time limit or charge, in DULWICH PARK CAR PARK. Seems strange as to why this would apply to just Dulwich Park or why they would be allowed to park there free at any time anyway.
  4. That really helps in my case Sue as didn't know someone could phone 111 if you are a carer for somebody and the local GP do not want to know. Will have to look into this.

  7. Oh dear, I think I must have over-sprayed my Opium perfume today. It was one of my dear Mum's favourites and I wear it a lot in memory of her, especially on Mother's Day. Was in a restaurant today and there was nobody on either side so it was lovely. Bring back the 70s/80s/90s/ perfumes!
  8. I hope you find somebody. It's so frustrating when GP's don't want to come out to an elderly person who has a problem but can't leave their home. They would rather do an over the phone consultation where they obviously cannot see what's going on.
  9. The South London Press (yesterday) had an report about this. Heading was 'Traffic measures are slammed'
  10. Her's, so sad and so young.

    Yes, you are confused Sue.
  12. What absolute drivel! But of course you would like the result of the 2016 Referendum being declared void.
  13. Three weeks to go to the new Argos but Sainsburys ED don't seem to have enough staff to cope with the self checkouts on a normal day to day basis anyway. Was there last Tuesday afternoon and one of the self checkouts walked out without paying for ?55 worth of stuff!
  14. Very strange, as the OP asked what was going on with this failed venture? How would they know it was a failed venture? I don't know where the place in question is i.e. SAUCY but I'm a bit lost with the recent replies.
  15. Just to say Rendel that you did post a very rude reply to the OP on Saturday night which was probably read by lots of people on the forum but was then edited the following morning.
  16. Good luck with that James!
