A grumpy Thames Water plumber came round and did something clever with a rubber shower hose attachment on Sunday afternoon, which sorted out our water pressure in less then ten minutes. Well worth calling TW if you're still having any problems.

Our cold water supply to the upstairs bathroom is still very slow. Anyone else still having problems? Will report back with what Thames Water has to say about it all...

The water pressure's still pretty dodgy at our end of Dunstans Road, by Goodrich School. According to Thames Water's recorded message, the problem has been fixed and pressure is still building.

Not a sausage on Dunstans Road. Or a survey.

I'm in for Dunstans Road!

We tried Si Mangia on Friday night after heading down the road bound for a juicy Herne-burger, only to find the pub closed for a private function. Despite its lacklustre location, the restaurant was fantastic, and the Italian sausage with borlotti beans and spaghetti was to die for. Hope this sparks the start of a Forest Hill Road makeover. What a novelty to walk out of the front door and turn right for dinner, instead of heading straight for Lordship Lane.

I'm afraid I won't be able to come along tonight after all ladies. But good luck and I'll keep an eye out for future meetings!

Hello ladies, I'm on for Monday too, but can't stay long or drink too much as I start a brand new job the next morning and must be a picture of health and enthusiasm!

Gosh, I was in Zizzi on the Strand on Sunday, celebrating my friend's marathon triumph. Thank goodness we missed this though. Blisters and achy bits are one thing, but this would truly have put our runner off her lunch.

I live on Dunstans Road and it's truly is a hotbed of strange and brilliant customised gardens. The clock tower and cacti collection never fail to amaze our visitors. Can't wait for Mr Cactus Expert to pull down his artfully constructed greenhouse this summer, showing his prickly wonders in all their glory.

Can't wait to hear all about it. Anything N1 can do, we can do better!

After admiring the forum from afar for quite a while, this is the first time I've posted a message. But a blue-rinse-free WI sounds like such a fabulous idea that I couldn't resist chipping in any longer. I also have a very chic new cakestand that's in danger of gathering dust in my cupboard. If only I knew how to bake perfect buns...
