I think stepping in and 'engaging' with children is something I'll steer clear of after a recent incident at the park. Two small girls were fighting over a scooter and were really screaming st each other with no parent in sight it seemed. Their older brother ran over and was actively encouraging them to start hitting each other. All the other parents in the playground were looking fairly horrified but no one was doing anything. I decided to walk over as there was no mother or father coming across to them, and it wasn't obvious who they were. All I said to the older boy was 'can you go get your mummy please'. By me stepping in the girls had stopped fighting. However i turned around to see the mother now right behind me, and I explained they were fighting etc. She said ' I want them to sort it out between themselves'. Obviously she was ok with them punching each other in public. She was annoyed I had done something but they were around 3 or 4 years old. Now I just look the other way. Unless I know the person, I wont step in from now on.

Hi, does anyone know a good local place to get passport photos done for a 4month old? I've been to one already where we had to 'prop' little man up and ended up with a hand in the photo. As we're getting a passport done, I want the least amount of drama possible and therefore a good pic first time. Can anyone recommend a place? I've heard some places lay them down to take it when they're babies. thanks ;)

another jump has gone in today ..its a little more interesting than the other.. and twice as high... the exit will be a bit tricky at speed so banking the corner may happern over the weekend by the magical track building fariy (for lack of a straighter alais) ...also a few new sections of trail opening up to us as well.. but im keen for a ride sunday week if anyone is keen.... just a local trail bash but its getting better every week. get in touch riders

sunday night is a matter of hours away in ed .... im keen to hit the dirt trails around 7pm tonight and fingers and toes crossed we might get some rain for a muddy run ... wet or dry are any of you guys and girls keen? if so pm or call 07818648061 and we will tee it up... prob start point at the herne....

so i was out this morning making a little modfication to that little log step which is now a log jump.......its faster with a slight change to the entry line and a build up to the log and the exit alot straighter, meaning you can carry more speed in and out anyone.... keen for tommorrow morning or the weekend ?(tu)

anyone keen to make good use of this early morning light and get a little muddy of a few peices of local single track? have found some great little sections of dirt with in 5 mins of ED

hey guys..new to mtb in london, been off the bike for 10 months or so and on the search for a few dirty spots to ride and get my skills back up... any suggestions would be very cool... cheers

kinda new to london and looking for forest trais, single track mountain biking around here because my mountain bike is far to shiny, so i need some dirt... any suggestions?
