  1. I have (Brand new amd boxed) 2 Posture Kneeling Chairs for sale. Buy 2 as a bundle for £110 or Brown one for £55 Black one for £75
  2. I live in a house containing 2 flats.. Flat A is an empty property... It seems like opportunist theives are targeting empty properties and sending items fraudulently to these addresses. This man came to pick up a parcel sent to the empty property. Royal mail left the parcel there. They tracked it. Saw it was delivered and came the next day.. When questioned that no- one lives at flat A ( you can see it's empty), he stated that he was moving in on the road. Then ask him what address.. he quoted the postcode, then suddenly remembered the number of the house.. He was shaking whilst being questioned. Then he said ok I will leave it." Why would you leave something you paid and ordered. This is clearly fraud. This is the photo of the man.. which in my mind was sent to pick up the parcel. He learnt the postcode and some phoney excuse if anyone asked him.

  4. Well woke up this morning to find cyclists do have more rights over cars on the road. Cars can only overtake by leaving at least 1.5m space. Basically cars need to leave a width of a bus lane. Or don't overtake. The moral is cyclists you've got the road to yourselves no need to cycle on the pavement.
  5. Do you know I would probably stop and challenge her. Perhaps she wouldn't do it again. If you stand some what safely in her way forcing her to slow down and and ask her why she's on the pavement. She might not do it again hopefully.
  6. Yes as said before I appreciate with young kids because usually thee child on the pavement and the parent on the road. Now though you mainly see adults on pavements. It's an accident waiting to happen.
  7. Around Southwark Yes.. Whether or not In Dulwich Cyclists should be on the Road not pavement. You learn to cycle get a competent certificate and then go on the roads. If your not confident enough practice in the parks not by riding on the pavement.
  8. Hello everyone. It seems since the beginning of Covid I'm finding more people cycling on the pavements. I'm not against cyclists but we only get kids learning and cycling along side parents who are on the road. But now I'm not only dodging scooters, dog mess and now I'm dodging bikes at speed whilst walking. The government pushed car owners into a tiny lane, made most bike lanes as big as a bus lane in Southwark yet cyclists go on the pavement. All the shops which have delivery collection such as Mcds,KFC,Pizzas and other restaurants seem to think park your bike on the pavement and then cycle on pavement. It's getting ridiculous and no one says a thing. Yet there is a big lane out on the road for them to use. They say scooters cause accidents what about a bike. Can the councillors not question Southwark about this?
  9. Tried that and even the councilor thinks it wrong. No clear definition from gov't on works. On Trossach Road workmen, building kitchen/conservatory and loft to a private house. No one lives there but we neighbours have to put up with the noise from 8am every morning and the dust.we can't open windows. Don't have a garden for my family to exercise I. So need the parks. I don't see construction men helping the Covid 19 cause by doing a private house.
  10. Near Tarbert Road and yes sort of like an Angle grinder noise.
  11. At around 3.40am couldn't sleep heard what sounded like sawing. I thought nobody could be sawing in their house at that time. Only realized today after a neighbor heard the same ting. .I believe someone was sawing a chain or something g. Be vigilant theives think that you are in your deep sleep and maybe trying to steal your bike or something. Make sure you park under a light or can see your bike. Concerned citizen in ED.
  12. This morning nearly walked into a lot of glass on pavement near church on Eash Dulwich Grove. Someone smashed in the back window of a car. This car looks like a family car as there was children's car seats in there. Obviously the owner must of left something in the back of the car as the person smashed the whole of the back window, where you can clearly see the inside of the boot. I hope someone sees this message and knows who car it is. Sorry did't get a look at the make.
  13. Hi, Many times I've tried to add photos and it state file can't be larger than 612KB .. but majority of the pics are around 133mb. then I have to ask people to send their email address so I can email the pics, this is very time consuming. please help.
  14. I spoke to one of the workman and he said its going to be a vets.. this was yesterday.
  15. Will be Peckham or Camberwell? In Camberwell they're re-doing the post office so they may be using the extra space for a sorting office. if you live near Dulwich Hospital and they close Silvester Rd which incidentally is a walk away.. why would you want to pay bus fare to go to Peckham..what about the elderly or sick people around here.
  16. Well I'm glad that people who live near there got leaflets through their door. It would of been nice for Southwark Council to advise the 3 schools 2 of them being primary schools..as we didn't know until the 363 came and after getting on the bus an moving off..oh yes we're on diversion..late for school not acceptable..as school is the top of Forest Hill Road. Why couldn't it have been done on the weekend. Sometimes logic just goes out the window..
  17. Well it seems people are quite passionate about their LL Cafes ... but DulwichFox. I do like your comment regarding limiting certain items. I'm aware that certain stores do this on particular items. Yea I do agree with TheArtfulDogger..The Cafes should put in a daily order and perhaps Co-op order more. I just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this problem..alas I'll have to go to M & S.. Thank you all for your input..glad to know where my bread is buttered!!!!!!
  18. Hello Mr Barber, Glad to see someone reaching out to the public, even if it's just for us to moan at. Southwark Libraries epecially Peckham and Camberwell.. why are they so noisy. I use libraries regularly and thought they were supposed to be quiet to either read, use the computer or for other community events. Especially if you are doing a job application you wnat some form of peace. But not in Southwark its seems you can have phone conversation as though you are at home on the sofa. Or talk with friends as though your in a playground. Even some of the staff particularly at the temporary Walworth road one(in the box village) seem to think that we all want to hear about their life history and what problems their having in their life so loudly or what should be done about the tickets in the library books. Where did they get their training from I don't know. The only libraries in Southwark that I can say are quiet is Grove Vale where they have fantastic Staff and Dulwich. I know you represent East Dulwich but do you have any influence or say in the other libraries across the borough?
  19. My family like Co-op own brand toastie white bread, amongst other breads. But because of the selfishness of many of the Cafes on Lordship lane we don't get any. For 3 weeks on the trot I've gone into Co-op to get their bread and even after a deliverly has been there's none left. I even tried the evening to no avail. On speaking to members of staff they state they may have to start ordering more as the cafes buy them in bulk and don't seem to think oh yes I'll leave some for the none business customers. Remember that the bread only cost 75p and the cafes make sandwiches and then charge the customers some ridiculous price and make themselves profit. Well Co-op are to ask the Cafes if they can think about the customer and start doing this.. I hold my breath. It's much easier to be selfish than think about others eh.
  20. FYI ...After watching Watchdog the disturbing thought of the chest of drawers falling on a child and either killing or seriously injuring them waa not nice too watch even though they used a dummy in the show. Anyone buying these please make sure that you have the brackets which IKEA have been selling with this product for the last year or two. Earlier products IKEA state do not have them. They attach to the chest of drawers and then onto the wall. Good luck.
  21. I've heard yesterday that M and S may be putting another store there.. although it makes no sense.. Southwark Library was supposed to have the space at the back, but yet again another community need goes out the window. We need a new libraby and that would have been ideal.. Although I love M and S we have enough food, wine, takeaways in the the areas..
  22. Thank you very much.
  23. Oh, thank you very much.
  24. Do you just get the word 'new' in red writing when its a new posting only?
  25. I tried to delete a post which I thought hadn't gone through as a message states that already posted the same or similar posting before. then when I changed the wording in the subject box i look and see i've posted 3 times in a row. How do you delete?
