  1. yeah i just noticed this on my way to the back of goose green, nightmare traffic
  2. i dont agree with this, what bumps up the cat population is people who dont bother to get their animals neutered in the first place which of course then causes cats to breed and increase the population!
  3. StephG - I am really really sorry to hear about gatwick. I hope you can try and find out who owned this pitbull dog and do something about it i think its in the interest of everyone for people to have their dogs on leads. What happens if next time its a child that gets attacked by a dog thats not on a lead
  4. my daughters school is exactly they same. They only open one small door for people to go in to collect their kids so if you are one of the lucky ones to get your child first, you basically have to wait until everyone has gone in to actually get out of the door. Also I can be standing at the door waiting for them to call my daughters name and sometimes the teachers look over me and call the person behind me which is really annoying. Also people push in front of you when they can see you are still waiting, drives me mad
  5. i agree with you bonniebird although dogs being left off the lead in the park is not necessarily safe as they can attack other dogs too (as in a previous thread)
  6. obviously the dog wasnt on a lead!!
  7. RSPCA wont do anything!
  8. i dont believe any animals should be used in any circus!!
  9. If my daughter has a small accident at her nursery, when i go and pick her up the teacher just tells me and gets me to sign the accident book
  10. This is a good place to eat. We went there when it first opened after receiving a flyer whilst walking past. We actually sat outside because it was a nice day.
  11. I think our 3 1/2 year old daughter knew from our 12 week scan as she came with us although she wasnt that interested in looking at the screen. Even when we went to the 3d scan towards the end of my pregnancy she kind of looked at the screen then was not bothered. Whenever my belly got bigger, she jus used to say the baby is getting bigger and she was actually the first to tell people that i was pregnant by blurting it out. She got more interested when the baby started kicking and she felt it. She used to even help rub cream into my stomach bless her. She was a bit OTT when the baby was first born but now our daughter is nearly six months and more interested she likes to help out with her but is not so much in her face as she was when she was first born
  12. I have been to this sale and it is very popular and there is alot of items available to buy and at great prices. I think this year i may be one of the sellers (although I am sure I will end up buying lots too) thanks for the information
  13. tried biotex and stain devils but unfortunately after doing all this and washing them, the stains still appear!
  14. contact southwark council and see if its the real deal or not
  15. yeah we just went to crystal palace park. The queue for it was very long so we didnt bother waiting (especially in the sun today) but it does look good so maybe you need to get there early so you dont have to queue for long
  16. will try napisan. Have tried stain devils and they haven't worked. The mud/dirt marks are quite severe on the ankles of the trousers
  17. thanks for the advice, will try the sunshine tip (when we get some) but i have a feeling the mud stains to the bottom of the trousers will take more than that to get rid of them
  18. my friend had his work van damaged by graffiti and he saw a CPO and they gave him a reference number. Apparently they maybe able to find the culprits through their tag name etc so they need to keep records etc.
  19. just wondered if anyone had any good tips on how to get a white pair of jeans clean. My daughter wore them to a wedding and they are now covered in grass stains/mud stains and seem to be ruined. I have used the stain devils on them and soaked them in washing powder but no luck yet
  20. we like dymchurch in kent. Nice beach and a kids area where you buy tokens for the rides
  21. also mudchute farm is good too
  22. godstone farm is lovely too. Lots of animals to see, feed and lots of different play areas for the kids (indoor as well as outdoor). We went last year with our daughter and we are planning on going again soon
  23. the RSPCA wont do anything about it. They only respond if the dog is poorly mistreated/starved/dying etc
  24. it could be foxes roaming the gardens and using them as litter boxes too!
  25. with my first daughter i used a manual breast pump but found it very hard to express. With my second daughter i got a electric one (medela) and i found it much easier and quicker (although a little noiser).
